Serenei had been receiving calls from her mother regarding her brother ever since she relocated to Japan to reside with her father. Following her high school graduation in Alabama, she ventured to Tokyo to pursue her college education.
Embarking on her professional journey, she took on the role of a cook in a fast-food establishment while working as a waitress in another bar. It was during this time that a particular individual began to frequent the establishment consistently whenever she was on duty. He maintained a fixed gaze, proceeding to the rear of the bar where he engaged in discussions with a suspicious crowd.
Despite the regularity of his visits, it took four months for him to establish contact with Serenei. He started to become a frequent customer until Serenei completed her final year of college, obtaining a degree in engineering, prompting her decision to resign from her job. She discovered his name to be Han.
Upon concluding her tenure, she left a discreet note on the bar's bulletin board, bearing the message "For Han, call this number, xoxo S."
Confidently, he dialed the provided number that very night. Since that moment, she has been accompanying him to his garage and participating in his races.
However, amidst this newfound connection, Serenei continued to receive distressing calls about her younger step-brother engaging in reckless driving and willful destruction of property.
She had been moving all her childhood, but it seemed to stop and cease when she got a phone call from an unknown number.Her little brother was coming to live with her and her father and he was on the first flight out.
