along the warm breeze blowing against her coat, underneath the falling autumn leaves, siyeon walks with her head hanging low. with hands dugged in her pockets, she was busy mumbling, or more like talking to herself. the woman seemed stressed about something.
a familiar voice was caught by her ears. her gaze averted from the ground and immediately a subtle smile perked.
"you look as fine as the coffee i had in the morning. oh wait, it's because the coffee i drank was made by your very hands."
"uh, thanks! but that coffee wasn't made by.. me? it was my friend who works in this cafe too."
siyeon had enough of fun with the man's horrible flirtations towards her and finally stepped in.
"hey man, you saying you like the hands that made you that coffee? i mean, if you want the guy who made you that coffee then sure! let me get his number for you." siyeon teases the guy.
"w-what, no! that's not what i meant-"
"here's his number! write it down, it's 02-"
the man grunts and awkwardly walks away.
"hey dude wait! you didn't get his number yet." siyeon continues joking.
the man was finally out of their sight and siyeon's friend was uncontrollable laughing till her face turned as red as a tomato.
"ah, siyeon. i know i have no one but you." she says as she hugs siyeon. they release from the hug and siyeon giggles
"of course minji, that's because you're lonely as fuck."
"oh shut the fuck up."
minji has been siyeon's long time friend since high schools. it's all thanks to that one time both of them didn't come prepared to an exam and one minute before it started they promised to help cheat with each other. very weird first way of meeting someone but they were desperate at that time. guess that wasn't such a pathetic desperation afterall.
siyeon enters the cafe the aroma of the sweets and drink flew up her nose.
"goddamn, how was today?" siyeon asks, placing her bag down on the chair.
minji takes a seat opposite of siyeon and sighed. "tiring. surprisingly we got more customers today though. or more like men who wanted to bang me."
"i mean no one can ignore a pretty lady like you."
"true that." a voice comes from behind. siyeon turns and it's minji's best pal, seokjin.
"not to mention we got alot of girls coming to the cafe too. " minji adds to tease seokjin.
"girls coming to bang jin."
"oh god why did i even come here." jin sarcastically says while arranging the chairs and tables.
"well, my job here is done. i'll take my leave. i'll turn the sign as closed. don't want more men to come in wanting to bang ya'll."
both the girls laughed and bid their goodbyes to jin. the latter soon left.
"hey, you okay? i saw you walking just now and clearly something's bothering you." minji asks siyeon, who was checking her phone.
with her furrowed eyebrows and confusion visible in her eyes, it pretty much exposed that something was bothering siyeon.
"minji, i got a case today."
"but it's... vey complicated."
