the clanking echoed as her finger repeatedly tapped on the wine glass. siyeon's body embeds into the soft sofa, facing above with her eyes following the design of her ceiling. the design line comes to an end, and so her eyes closes for a brief second.

a deep sigh escapes her mouth. she sinks deeper into the sofa.

her eyes dart to the room by her hallway to the kitchen. the room that has been vacant for so long has been occupied by bora. siyeon just couldn't sleep tonight bearing the fact a young girl with no place to stay simply wondering around the dark streets with creeps ready to attack.

most importantly, it's the same woman stated in the case she received.

"talk about coincidence."

groaning as she gets up, she stretches her stiff body. finally, she heads towards her room to finally get the rest she deserves.
_

"you.."

"cooked all of these?"

bora could only nod, having an unclear picture of what siyeon's reaction actually means.

"woah. they smell so good."

a shy smile appears. "well, you seem like a busy woman. you probably haven't had a good breakfast in weeks, heck even months."

"you got that right. at this point my taste buds are just bitter from the quick coffee i drink every morning." siyeon continues eyeing the delicious breakfast displayed infront of her.

"plus, you offered me a place to stay. what more can i do?"

"oh please, don't mention it."

"hehe."

that sweet giggle again.
_

"woah woah siyeon,"

"does this mean you'll never buy coffee from our shop again?" minji pouts

siyeon rolls her eyes, "i'll continue buying your goddamn coffee and sell it. earn extra bucks in the meantime you know."

minji jokingly hit's siyeon. "yah give me my benefits too."

"i'll sell it men and tell it's made by the hands of a sWeEt lady."

minji simply walked away as siyeon continued joking. siyeon could only laugh at the pouting lady.

siyeon normally stops by at minji's cafe to get coffee. meals weren't something she'd spent much time on. siyeon isn't the best cook herself, hence why she cooks or buys simple dishes.

or more like she's lose interest of attempting to cook some good food. as simple as bora's nice gratitude was, memories relived again.

as bitter as her coffee, her smile bitterly faded.

"minji, i'm leaving."

"bye siye-"

the thud glass door shuts minji off. the little bells hangs above the door chimes along minji's sudden worrying thoughts.

"haish, she probably remembers of her again."
