Chapter 3

Ludmila POV

After I stayed in my room for a while, I walked to my mother who was sitting on the couch

" Mom ?" I asked and she looked up from her magazine

" Yes Dear ? " She answered glancing back at the magazine

" Why was Diego and his parents acting differently today ?" I asked and she sighed

" Ludmila, there's something I need to tell you" She said,putting the magazine down on the table

" What is it ? " I asked, sitting beside her, on the couch

" Diego's parents officially split up " She said and I nodded, I knew that

" And Diego had to pick which one he wanted to live with " My mother explained

I felt really bad for Diego, having to pick one parent over the other

" And he picked his mother " My mother said

" Yeah and ?" I asked, thinking this story would never end

" His mom decided that she can't live near Diego's dad because he would want to see Diego and she didn't want that" My mother continued

" So ? ....." I sighed, getting bored

" So she decided to move " my mother revealed

" Move to a new house ? " I asked, getting worried

" Ludmila " My mom looked me in the eye " He's gone to Spain "

I sat there, speechless. The only person who really understood me, the only one who really cared about me , my best friend was gone

I started to weep and my mother held out her arms for me to give her a hug , but I turn away and ran upstairs

I fell backwards on my bed and I cried a river. How dare he leave me like this ? I hated him and it's obviously that he hated me to. If he did love me then why would he leave ? But then he kissed me .... No , he hated me

I walked, angrily, out of the house . I started to run then bumped into someone

" I'm sorry " The dark haired girl said and I stopped running

" I'm Natalia, or Naty , whatever you want to call me " She said

" I'm Ludmila, or Ludmi or Lud or Supernova " I said and she laughed

" Let's go, Ludmi " She smiled and we walked back to my house.
