The waitress came around to take out orders interrupting their laughing session.
"Can i have some Chicken Tenders with bbq sauce?" Kinsley asked while putting the menu down.
"And what will you have to drink?" she asked while writing down my order. "Sweet tea is fine." Tyler made a face, "Ew you drinking sweet tea with chicken tenders? Weirdo" he said while proceeding to tell his order. "Let me get a Bacon cheese burger with everything on it. Oh and some strawberry lemonade" he added folding his menu and putting it on top of kinsley's. Nia went next "Okay, can i get a bacon cheeese burger, no onions or tomatoes, fries with not too much salt, onion rings, oh y'all got bread sticks? let me get those too, and ummm strawberry lemonade." she said tossing her menu on top of kinsley and tyler's.
"Damn girl that's for the whole table?" Jasper spoke making everyone laugh. Nia turned her head at him, "You minding my business fatty?" she said flinching at him causing him to jump back. "I was just playing dont beat me up now" Jasper said trying to play off his jump by fixing his shirt. Hodgy laughed, "don't play wit her i heard she one of them" he said wrapping his arm around nia. She giggled leaning into his arm "They call me Miss.GotThemBitches" she said loudly looking back at Zeek who was still staring at our table. This made the whole gang turn around and look at Zeek and his friends.
The table finished ordering and had gotten their drinks when they started to talk about why Nia had looked back at Zeek.
"Ain't that dude from school?" Tyler asked while stirring his lemonade with his stew. Kinsley nodded, "His ass weird" Nia nodded in agreement, "I had to beat his ass or whatever the other day. that's why my hand wrapped up if nobody noticed" she said lifting up her wrapped hand. "Damn I didn't even notice" Taco said as he reached over to touch her hand. "OW NIGGA" she said pulling her hand to her chest. "My bad, I didn't mean to be that rough" he said leaning back into the booth. Nia smirked, "i'm just playing it doesn't hurt anymore but it look cool on me dont it?" Everyone laughed. "What's y'all beef with him, he keep staring over here like he mad" Jasper said. "Nigga a playa hater that's all" Kinsley said flipping her hair behind her shoulder.
The waitress came with their orders interrupting the conversation.
"But yeah he just was actting weird with me" Kinsley said biting into a fry, "We were kicking it then he did a 180 and start moving weird and mean" Tyler made a face "Nigga weird as hell, i got English with him and he try to act like a know it all, real cocky" Taco nodded in agreement, "Honestly i never liked the nigga, he took the last fruit cup at lunch when he seen me reaching for it, we touched hands for like 3 seconds. gay as hell if you ask me." Nia laughed, "fruit cup, gay. the irony" everyone stared at her. "outta pocket for that shit" jasper spoke shaking his head at her. "Man fuck you that was funny." Nia said throwing and Onion ring at Jasper "SHUT UP MUSTY." Everyone laughed but it was interrupted by a strange presence felt behind the booth. Kinsley felt it directly behind her and turned around to Zeek standing there reaching to tap her. She flinched back so he couldn't reach her shoulder.
"Can i help you?" she said with a mean mug? Zeek eyed the table before focusing back on kinsley "Can i talk to you real quick?" Kinsley rolled her eyes looking at Nia then back to him. "I ain't got shit to say to you and you shouldn't have shit to say to me, you oughta be apologizing to Nia for making her hurt her hand on your hard ass face" she said clearly getting upset. "You wanna put on show for this nigga or something?" Zeek said moving his eyes to tyler then back to kinsley. Nia stood up and got into Zeeks face, "Yoo heard her get to stepping before we jump you" Hodgy stood behind her looking at zeek "Yeah we like to jump people." Zeek chuckled and looked back at his friends, "Jump me? Y'all gon have to see me and my friends before that happen. I'm just trying to talk to my old friend kinsley" he smirked at her. Tyler stood up "Let it be that then, i'll see you outside after we finish eating." Zeek nodded walking back to his table with his friends and started talking to them.
Everyone had sat down at this point and finished eating. The tension was there for everyone at the table because of zeeks conversation but minutes later they were back joking with each other and talking about other things. The waitress came and gave them to go boxes and tyler picked up
the bill. "Thank you Ty, you didn't have to for real i had money" Kinsley said as she put her box in the plastic bag" Nia put her finger over Kinsleys lips, "shhhh, we love a rich man" Tyler laughed, "Its no problem, the store did great on its first day so our pockets looking nice" The rest of the gang nodded in agreement. Hodgy grabbed Nia and his bag and held her hand as we all walked outside to our cars.
Syd, Lionel, Earl and Steve said their goodbyes and left in the truck they carpooled in, The rest of the gang headed to Tyler's Jeep where they started to put their food in the cars and hop in, Tyler started the car then started patting his pockets, "Shit! i think i left my wallet in there." Nia joked "you better get it for them white people do, you know they like to steal ...." Hodgy added "People and shit included ima go with you dawg." Kinsley laughed, make it fast. Tyler and Hodgy hopped out the car and ran inside to get Tyler's wallet while Taco and Jasper stayed enetertainknf Kinsley and Nia, "Alright so which one of y'all the oldest?" Taco asked "Me" kinsley raised her hand. Jasper gasped, "i would've thought nia" he said. "And why is that?" Nia asked raising an eyebrow, "cus your attitude gives me old hag vibes" he busted out laughing. Nia reached in the backseat and start hitting jasper, Taco let her get a few good licks in before pulling her back down as him and kinsley laughed.
Minutes had gone past and they still didn't see hodgy and tyler so they got worried. "I bet they stole them niggas" nia shook her head taking the keys out the ignition, "let's go get them" Kinsley laughed "i doubt it but they are taking long cmon" they all got out the car and walked to the restaurant door where they heard screaming, tables falling over and silverware and plates dropping. they swung open the door and they heard a loud bang causing everyone to drop to the ground.
"SHIT!"
