I sat in the front with Khalil on the way to the mall listening to the radio when a Chance the rapper song came on, I instantly turned it up and started bobbing my head to the beat "If one more label try to stop me," I looked over at Khalil and of course he came in with the other part "It's gon be some dread head niggas in your lobby" and surely Nia popped in "HUH, HUH" and we all came in on the last part "You don't want no problem, want no problem with me" Khalil patted the steering wheel while I saw Kinsley in the back milly rocking.
I laughed pulling out my phone, starting to record her. It was going fine til Nia jumped in screaming "Chance the rapper is my sugar daddy and that is all I have to say." Khalil rolled his eyes while Kinsley looked up and spotted the camera then fell into Nia's lap full of embarrassment. I turned around patting her back. "It's okay, only you and my snapchat viewers will be seeing this" I laughed. She looked up and shot me the bird.

The drive to the mall was actually pretty fun, instead of me fearing I'd have to break the ice it came naturally. When we got there I hopped out the car with everyone and we walked into the entrance of the mall. Nia and Khalil headed over to tacobell despite the fact Nia insisted on Tokyo express at school. Zeek and I walked over to "Auntie Anne's".
"Can I get a small cup of pretzel bites?" I asked the clerk. He nonchantly rung up my order "that'll be 4.68" he said. I could see Zeek's gaze on me as I opened my purse looking for a 5 dollar bill. He hurried and grabbed my hand, there goes the chills again. "No worries, I've got it." Zeek chimed in stepping infront of me handing over his 5 and giving me my pretzels. "Keep the change" he said as he grabbed my hand heading over to Khalil and Nia at the table. I blushed a bit "You didn't have to do that." He smiled "I was cool with it as long as you share the pretzels" he winked as he grabbed one of my bites and rushed over to the table.
We ate the pretzel bites and I drank my lemonade, I saw Zeek occasionally take sips. "You just drink off of anyone?" I teased his as I dusted my hands off from the cinnamon that was on my fingers. He glanced at me then down at my bottle he was holding and chuckled "Nah, not really but I know you haven't been doing anything." I raised an eyebrow "Not sure if I should be flattered of insulted." He reached his hand over to my back and rubbed it, those fucking chills. "It's not an insult baby" he flashed a smile and then went back to talking to Khalil.
I thought to myself for a minute, "did he jus- BITCH HE CALLED ME BABY" I tried to keep calm although on the inside my soul was bursting.
Before we knew it the time was 8:30 and the mall was closing at 9 so we got in the car and headed home. Overall the mall was nice Khalil and Nia were all together holding hands and arguing over Nia always asking for a honeybun at each vending machine they saw. Zeek won me a bear and we took pictures in the photo booth. When we got to Nia's Khalil and Nia said their separate good byes while me and Zeek said ours.
"I had fun tonight, I love the bear" I smiled as I held the bear in my arms. Zeek smiled a chuckled "Me too, glad you enjoy the bear, even thought it took me about 20 times to win it." I nodded and laughed "determination though, I'm here for it." We smiled for a while then an awkward silence fell upon us. We looked over to see Khalil and Nia kissing and laughed. He took a step towards me and wrapped his hands around my waist into a hug while I wrapped them around his neck and hugged him back. He was so warm and ugh.
After the hug he smiled and promised to text me when he made it home safe heading back to the car while I had yanked Nia off of Khalil. She wiped the corner of her mouth a laughed out of embarrassment a little "sorry, ha got a little distracted" I rolled my eyes playfully and waved bye to Khalil as they packed into the car to leave.
When we got in I sat my bear on the bed and grabbed some pajamas to slip into, when I got out the shower I saw a text from Zeek and nearly jumped to my phone.
"Damn froggy, can you put on some clothes first." Nia joked. I laughed and put on some shirts and a big t-shirt.

I slid open my phone with a smile and when I opened it my face fell from a smile to a frown ...
