into the woods and trolls crossover broppy one-shots

~two strangers in the woods~

*takes place when cinderella ran away from the ball the first time*

cinderella kept running far away desperately trying to get away from the prince when she started to change

Cinderella: huh what on earth is happening to me?!

*cinderella then collapses onto the ground starting to change*

When cinderella now with the name of poppy awoke from her unconsciousness she stood up now smaller with bubblegum pink skin, magenta eyes, and hot pink hair in a ponytail with a blue dress

Poppy: oh dear what happened?

*poppy places a hand on her forehead and then looks at her hand and lets out a startled gasp*

Poppy: oh. my. god, what happened to me?

Poppy: This isn't what I look like at all...

Poppy: well I might as well continue to stepmother's home

poppy started walking to her stepmother's house but cannot find the path to her house when she began to feel lost

Poppy: *sighs frustrated* how to find the way home?

*poppy started to walk in opposite directions completely confused*

Poppy walked in many directions but stopped when she came across a raging river

Poppy: *sighs* this is hopeless...

*poppy then felt something cold and hard with bars around her*

Trader: ahh what a fascinating creature you are, this will be my new possession!

Poppy: *gasps*

without a moment to lose poppy started screaming for help only for a miracle to answer her calls

Poppy: HELP! HELP! PLEASE! I'M BEING KIDNAPPED!!!

*meanwhile in a deep part of the woods*

deep within the woods, someone was walking around and heard something that sounded like screaming and cries for help, and without a moment to lose it ran to where the sound was coming from

*back with cinderella/poppy*

*poppy was thrown into the back of a wagon and still didn't stop screaming for help*

Poppy: HELP!! 

Trader: Keep it down back there!

???: leave her alone!

Poppy: huh?

Then out of the sky, a greyish-blue troll with dark midnight blue hair and icy blue eyes who wore a leaf vest with brown shorts landed in front of poppy's cage glaring at the one who captured her

Trader: well well well looks like I have another trinket to add to my collection

???: I won't be a part of your collection and neither will she

Trader: Oh I see if it's a duel you want, a duel you'll get!!

*the trader pulls out a knife and tries to stab the troll but the troll knocks it out of his hands using its hair*

*poppy tries to hop away but falls off and into the raging river she was at*

*the troll and trader notice this and the troll knocks out the trader and rushes to poppy's aid*

As the troll bolted to the raging river poppy was in poppy was struggling to stay afloat given to the fact she was in a cage

Poppy: help! hel- *coughs*

???: HOLD ON I'M COMING!!!!

*the troll dives in the river and tries to pick the lock and succeeds but loses poppy somewhere in the current making him go back onto shore and run quickly*

*Meanwhile with poppy*

Poppy: help! help! *gasps for air and hits her head on a rock making her blackout*

the troll looks ahead and saw a waterfall and poppy was heading straight for it! the troll knew it had to act fast so the troll used it's hair to swing to a nearby tree branch that was over the waterfall

*Poppy then falls over the waterfall only to be grabbed by something soft*

???: phew, I got her

???: I need to get her to the bunker quickly

as soon as the troll got to shore it picked up poppy bridal style and ran to the bunker as fast as he could

*poppy opens her eyes ever so slightly seeing the troll who saved her life from the river carrying her and closes her eyes again*

~Time skip~

Poppy: *opens eyes slightly and gasps feeling a bit panicked not knowing where she was and tries to quickly get up but feels a pair of hands push her back down gently*

???: it's okay, it's okay you're alright

Poppy: where am I? who are you?

Branch: oh well my name is branch and you're in my bunker

*branch said while covering poppy with warm blankets*

Branch: what's your name?

Poppy: Oh I'm poppy

Poppy: what happened out there?

Branch: you were captured by a trader and I fought him off and you fell into a river, then blacked out, fell over a waterfall-

Poppy: *gasps worried and panicked again fearing she may be dead* 

Branch: hey hey hey! don't worry I caught you at the last second, and I brought you here until you can regain your strength

Poppy: really? wow, that's pretty nice of you...

Branch: yeah but you can't leave your bed while you're here so *sighs*

Branch: you need to stay here for one night okay?

Poppy: yes I understand

Branch: okay and one more thing

*branch then hops onto the bed and pulls poppy close to his chest making poppy blush a lot*

Branch: g'night poppy

poppy: 'night branch...

and like that poppy and branch cuddled together falling asleep in each other's arms
