The last thing he saw was the army of monsters ahead of him and his friend as the bridge began to crumble. He tried to find his footing and run for solid ground, but it was too late. He fell into the water as part of the bridge began to fall on top of him. As soon as he hit the water, his breath was taken away from him. He tried to swim up, but a column of concrete fell on top of him, keeping him pinned to the river floor.

He tried to kick and squirm his way out from under it, while struggling to keep the water from rushing into his lungs. His adrenalin began to wear off and he noticed a sharp pain in his right thigh. He opened his eyes to see a metal rod running straight through his thigh. He realized that the rod was the only thing keeping him from bleeding out and he internally sighed.

So this is how it ends, he laughed internally. He looked up towards the broken bridge and tried to smile without opening his mouth. I swear to the gods if I sacrificed my life just for you to lose, I'll come kill you myself Percy, he thought to himself. He felt a small pain in his head and his eyes began to shut for the final time. As his vision went black, he felt his heart rate slow and body began to shut down.

"Interesting," a rough, but definitely feminine voice said quietly in his head. "You will make a fine addition to my team."

While most people would be shocked to hear a random voice in their head, the boy couldn't care less. He was finally free from the dangers every demigod had to face. He laid there, arms outstretched, not moving muscle. His body began to flinch as he couldn't take any more water in his lungs. His vision finally went completely black and his heart could no longer create a single beat.

One Week After The Giant War

"Perseus Achilles Jackson," Zeus boomed. His voice echoed throughout the throne room, grabbing the attention of a sleeping Dionysus, as well as some campers.

Percy stepped forward in front of the rest of the seven. He held a small smile on his face and put his hands behind his back.

"You have helped generously throughout both wars and it would not be right to not call you a hero of both wars. You have sacrificed your life for you friends, your family, and us on many different occasions."

Some of the gods, especially my father, held small amounts of shock on their faces. Something you wouldn't notice out of the corner of your eye.

"Last time offered you the gift of immortality, but you turned it down to improve the lives of your fellow demigods and the peaceful titans that were wrongly imprisoned by the council."

The look of shock of the councils faces extend even more and was now more than noticeable.

"The council has already agreed to your gift, it is up to you to accept. If you're willing to accept, the council would like to offer you godhood."

Murmurs, whispers, and shouts broke out among all the demigods. Percy saw his father look at him with the biggest smile on his face, but his eyes held a look of concern. He knew Percy wouldn't accept, but he still had a little bit of hope that he would.

"If you answer yes, the Fates will come and grant you godhood, and your titles to determine wether you will be a minor or a major god. We await your answer young hero."

The crowd behind him began to finally grow quiet; everyone waited to hear what he would say. Surely he would accept many campers thought to themselves.

Percy looked towards the rest of the seven, but his eyes focused on a certain blonde headed girl. She had a small smile on her face, but held fear in her story grey eyes. He gave her a playful smile and turned back to face the Zeus.
