"no." I said with a blank expression.
"what do you mean by no?!" Sofia asked confused.
"I mean no, I won't be joining your pack. I don't want to be part of this pack or any other pack." I replied.
Incase you are wondering what's going on, well... I was watching the warriors train today about 5 minutes ago when Sofia came with Alpha King aka my mate.
Speaking of my mate, I still don't know his name.
'Eeeh! Helena! You are going off the topic!' Mara, my vampire pointed out. "oh sorry.' I replied.
Anyways, my mate and Sofia said that there will be a ceremony tonight to accept me into the pack.
So, back to where we are now.
"what do you mean you won't become a part of this pack?! You are a rogue!" Mate exclaimed. I gave him a cold look.
"I have never been in a pack like this before, at least not that I remember. If you aren't fine with me refusing to join your pack and remaining rogue, then I would gladly leave this place for good. You can't just expect someone who has been rogue all her life to join a pack so easily!" I snapped.
They looked taken back by my little outburst.
"I- I'm so-" Sofia's words were cut short by my mate.
"well then leave!" he growled at me.
I just smiled at him sweetly before saying, "gladly."
"no!" Sofia exclaimed. "Darius! You promised!"
"fine. You can stay." my mate sighed. I rolled my eyes.
'Mate's name is Darius.' Eden purred.
"I will stay but don't expect me to join your pack. I will remain a rogue. I have been a rogue for all I remember. And I will remain the same. I'm a rogue. I will always be a rogue. If you don't like it then it's not my problem. The problem itself is you." I smiled at him bitterly.
"whatever." he grumbled.
"grumpy." I muttered under my breath.
"what did you call me?" he glared at me.
"grumpy, sir. That's what I called you." I rolled my eyes.
"what did you call me?!" he snarled this time.
"I'm so sorry. I really don't like repeating myself." I said faking sweetness in my voice.
"mind your words, rogue! I'm an alpha!" he growled at me. "not my alpha. I'm a rogue. Alphas aren't something we care about. Don't forget that." I chuckled as he growled again.
Oh how I miss angering Alphas!
'I'm not surprised.' Eden laughed.
