A/N: Hello mates, thank you for following my story up here. Hmm... Let me give you gays a little fun. Right now, we are having time travel back to Cadence's past. Sorry, I'm a little curious about her. So here we go. Hensley would not be around at this moment. Happy reading.
Back to when Cadence was Seventeen
Cadence's POV
"Cadence, could you demonstrate the answer for the class, please?" Miss Dawson, our lecturer asked.
I sighed under my breath, but I still had to do it. I didn't like the idea from the teachers always put me on the spot. I got the highest grade in school didn't mean that I had to demonstrate anything in every class for my classmates' sake.
I would much appreciate it if they left me alone for reducing the dramas and gossips from the students. I was the teachers' pet in the students' eyes. Somehow, I already get used to it because I frequently eavesdrop they said my bad things behind my back.
I didn't mean to listen to their topics because they were too dumb to lower down their volume to speak.
I softly dropped down my pen on my notebook, gently pulled my chair backward to avoid making noise. I stood up, gently brushed my uniform skirt before I walked to the blackboard to solve the calculus questions.
The question was from the textbook and I already did before, so I didn't take long to finish the question. I returned to my seat and continued doing my revision for Chemistry which was a tough subject for me. I needed to work harder for that.
Finally, the class ended. I was heading to the library to do my further revision in my two hours break.
I smiled when I saw Sabrina, my best friend heading in my direction with a wide grin. She was a shy girl with red hair and fair skin. We knew each other when we were 10, she and her family shifted to our next door, and soon we become best friends.
She stopped next to me as she linked her arm with mine, "Basin Robin?" I suggested, and I decided to spend the two hours break with her because she had no friends and I was her only friend. She grinned in enthusiasm and said, "Yes, let's go."
We only took 5 minutes to drive to the Baskin Robin. We settled on the seats after we bought our ice creams. "I hate history." Sabrina groaned in frustration as I laughed lightly at her.
"Do you need any help? I can study together if you want." I suggested.
Sabrina's brown eyes sparkle as she nodded her head and said eagerly, "Yes, please. I'm pretty lost. I really need your help."
I smiled as I nodded my head at her and asked, "What about we make it tonight if you don't mind?" I bit my lower lips whenever I think about her, and I explained truly, "It's because I'll have another plan after school."
Sabrina grinned cheekily "It's okay, take your time. I get it. We can do it another day if you're still not free tonight. I'm fine with that."
I rolled my eyes at her, "It's not what you think like that, Sabrina." She remains that cheeky face and giggles. I shook my head at her with narrow my eyes, and side seeing her, "Someone is getting cheeky recently. Do you have someone catch your eyes?"
Sabrina faced down and started blushing as I grinned at her, "Oh, is a boy or girl?" I asked because I'm not sure about her sexuality.
I confirmed that I'm only into the girl. However, I haven't opened up to my parents, and I'm worried they would freak out.
"It's a girl." Sabrina said shyly as I grinned, "Are you lesbian or bisexual?"
Sabrine hummed as she used her fingers to twirl her locks and said, "I'm not sure. I'm only into a girl so far." her face turned in crimson, but her face suddenly fell and she said in disappointment, "But, she already has a girlfriend."
