Cadance's POV

Three months after

"My diamonds leave with you
You're never gonna hear my heart break
Never gonna move in dark ways
Baby, you're so cruel"

I rolled my eyes when I heard Hensley sang along with the song with her disturbing tone. From the corner of my eyes could see her wiggling her fingers and danced lamely. "Stop dancing if you want both of us to reach the destination safe and sound."

She laughed like she was quite happy to annoy me and said confidently, "That's a sexy dance, Goddess." She continued wiggling her long fingers and shimmered her shoulders.

I clicked my tongue and said, "I think to knock you down and bounced you up for the rest of the trip is a great idea for me to peace my mind."

I heard her gasped playfully and said, "Oh, that's so creepy, but I love it!" I chuckled with shook my head.

"How long are we going to be reached, baby? We've stuck in your baby black for more than three hours. You need a break, don't you?" I smiled when I heard she start caring about me.

I shook my head and reassured her, "It's fine, we will be reached very soon, Be patient, babe." I smirked, "Only if you distracted me with your lame dancing, then we might be late to be there than expected."

She sighed and said casually, "Fine, I'll sleep then. Goodnight, goddess."

I pinched her face "I asked you to stop dancing. I didn't ask you to sleep. Keep talking."

"Nah, I changed my mind. I wanna sleep now, later." I could see her said with a shrug in the corner of my eyes.

I skillfully used my fingers to clip her earlobe to pull it make her yelped "Ow! What was that for?"

I swiftly took a look at her, she was caressed her earlobe with pursed lips. I smirked at her in victory and back to the windshield and said, "To make you stay awake, babe."

"Ughhhh, I hate you," She groaned.

"Fine. Just do whatever you want."

"Oh really?" she asked expectedly as I hummed and she leaned in to plant a kiss on my face make me shook my head because of her childishness. "Thank you, baby. Love you." With that, she continues to sing out loud of her lung.

I had planned to spend our weekend at the cabin which was given by my dad. This cabin was 4 hours away from town, it was a quiet and peaceful place to relax.

This cabin was a memorable place with my mum and dad. We had shared a lot of fun, joy, and memories in this place. We usually would spend our long weekend or holidays there.

I was thankful my dad keep this cabin for us, yet I was regret to leave him for years. I realized I had misunderstood my dad after I read a letter from him. Somehow, there was no turning back. At least we already let go of our past before he was gone.

~Flash back~

Don't worry about it, Baby. Think to the bright side, and everything will be okay." Hensley reassured me by holding my hands. She gently squeezed my hands and said, "I'll always be here for you. Ignore the two snobbish bitches. They're nothing." Hensley said with a frown.

I chuckled because she hates them a lot now. I said, "You know what, I called them snobbish whores." She burst out laughing and nodded her head, "Oh! That's sounds so good to them! Suit them well." She eventually stopped laughing as she beamed, "Are you ready?"

I smiled with nodded my head, "More than ready, let's go." We parted as we get off our car, and Hensley already waited at me outside of the car. She smiled warmly with extended her hand for me to hold. I gladly linked her hands as we walked into the lawyer firm with hands in hands.
