Tattoo no. 4

Today is the day we go on a triple date. It's been a week since Jayden told me that Jessica cheated on him. Honestly I'm not suprised, of course someone like her would cheat. I have been fighting the urge to rip her face off for the past few days.

I not angry because Jessica cheated on Jayden. I'm angry because this has affected Jayden so badly. He hardly eats and showers. I even bathed him once, he started crying even more. He said that he is not crying because Jessica cheated on him but he regrets dating her instead of the one person he loves the most.

I was suprised he didn't love her but someone else. For a second I thought it was me he was talking about but then I remembered we are just friends nothing more nothing less. Even though it hurts I smile and be strong for him.

"Are you ready to go?" I ask stepping into his room. He is sitting in chair looking out the window, he seems to be writing in his diary. He turns to look at me, putting his diary away then he stares at me in awe. "You look beautiful." He says with a grin. I turn away from him with a blush.

I don't know what he is talking about when he says I'm beautiful because I'm honestly not wearing anything fancy. I'm just wearing a mock neck teddy sweatshirt and some blue jeans, my hair is at its natural structure; shoulder length and curly. And as for make-up, I'm not wearing any simply because I don't like make-up. I'm also wearing my white half boot All Star

"You look handsome too." He looks better than the last few days. His grin only widens. He is wearing a whitish hoddie and a blue jean jacket, with black jeans and half boot All Star. He is effortlessly handsome.

"You look happy!" I compliment
"Because I am." He then winks at me.

We stare at each other for a long time the tension is to thick. "Let's go." I clear my voice and turn to leave but I feel a hand on my shoulder turning to face Jayden. "I just wanted to say thank you for everything you've done for me."

He is so close, I just nod because I'm afraid that something might happen if I talk. We both exit his room, I take my car keys from the kitchen counter, then we both exit the apartment.

When we arrive in the car Jayden starts speaking again. "Today is the day I break up with her.". "Good for you dude." I smile.

I connect my phone to the radio of the car using Bluetooth. I start the engine of the car and select my playlist so that I can avoid talking to Jayden. Why do I want to avoid him? I also don't know. I have a very bad habit of avoiding people  for no valid reasons and I guess today is one of those days.

We exit the parking space and head to  Wimpy where Jessica informed us, that our triple date will be at. By triple date I mean Jess and Jayden, me and Nolan, and Harry and Aaron. I invited Harry and Aaron on the last minute because I don't think I can handle all the drama that's about to unfold.

We arrive at the Wimpy, and we find some parking space fast since its not crowded. It's cloudy with a chance of rain. I turn off the engine of the car and the radio, cutting Magic Shop by BTS in half.  "We are here!" I turn to look at him, "You ready?" I ask. He responds with a nod.

We exit the car and head inside the restaurant. Where we see Jessica and Nolan sitting very comfortably next to each other in a booth. I feel like vomiting. As soon as Jessica sees us, she waves her hand gesturing to us to come and sit.

'Let's get this over and done with.' I think to myself. "Hi." I force a smile. I sit next to Nolan in the booth soon after I see Harry and Aaron coming through the doors. I silently thank God for their presence, at least I'll have someone who will keep me sane during the process of this triple date bullshit.
