it was the day, the day of his and jungkook's first date, was he nervous? hell yes he was but he was way more excited than he was nervous.

taehyung had woken up at 10 am that day, which was very unlike him because he was usually a early bird, he just sighed, ran his hands through his hair and got out of bed.

it usually took him around an hour and a half to get ready for the day, so he just figured that they'd have brunch before going on the actual date, which now seemed kind of nice.

after he was done with his morning routine, he walked out of his room to see jungkook in the kitchen making coffee.

"hi" taehyung said as jungkook looked up and smiled

"hi, do you want some too?" the younger asked as taehyung smiled at him gratefully.

"yes please" he said as jungkook nodded and made the coffee for two instead of one.

"we're still going on that date right? or are you going to stand me up?" jungkook asked playfully before handing the coffee mug to the older.

"what date? what are you talking about?" taehyung asked frowning as jungkook rolled his eyes and sat on the couch.

"how about we go out for a brunch first and then we'll go for the actual date?" taehyung asked as he sat on the kitchen counter.

"sure, what's the actual date?" jungkook asked cheekily as taehyung smiled.

"be patient baby, you'll know soon" the older said as jungkook pouted and died on the inside because of  the nickname taehyung had just called him with.

at noon, taehyung and jungkook were headed out, they grabbed a quick brunch at a near by restaurant and were now heading for their date.

"seriously hyung just tell me what we are doing, it won't change anything" jungkook whined as taehyung rolled his eyes.

"me telling you won't change anything either" taehyung said as jungkook huffed and shoved his hands in his pockets.

after walking for ten more minutes, they were finally there.

"oh my god! the pottery studio" jungkook exclaimed excitedly as he looked at the small shop.

"i thought why not do something unique instead of having a basic date huh?" taehyung said as jungkook smiled.

"i wanted to come here for so long, let's go make pottery!" jungkook said as he took taehyung's hand and dragged him inside the studio.

"hi we're here to try this" taehyung told the lady at the counter as she smiled at the two.

"what would you like to make? soju cups, pots, dishes, anything you'd like" the lady asked

"let's try soju cups" jungkook said as taehyung nodded.

the two hours that followed were filled with laughter and pottery, both the boys were having the time of their life making the little soju cups, sometimes taehyung would chuckle at how focused jungkook was and sometimes jungkook would laugh at how messy taehyung was.

they were finally letting lose, finally breathing and finally being content for once.
