it had been almost three days since jimin left, jungkook had a lot of fun while the older was around and it truly made him realise how much he missed jimin and Busan.
jungkook had had an exhausting day, they had practice for almost eighteen hours, there was a competition coming up, and there was just a lot of pressure on the said boy because of being the lead dancer.
he unlocked the door to his apartment and walked in to see taehyung watching netflix on the tv.
"hyung" jungkook called as taehyung turned around and smiled at the younger.
"hey gguk you look exhausted" he said as jungkook nodded and removed his shoes.
jungkook threw his bag on the floor, he walked to the elder and wrapped his arms around the older's torso.
"you okay?" taehyung gently asked as he hugged the younger tightly, jungkook rested his face on the older's chest as he hummed.
"yeah i'm fine, just stay like this for a while please" jungkook said as taehyung nodded as he slightly rubbed the younger's back.
"thank you i needed that" jungkook said as he pulled away.
"go eat, you look like you need that too, i got some takeout earlier for both of us, i ate mine because i was really hungry, yours is in the kitchen" taehyung said as jungkook nodded and smiled.
jungkook took out a plate and placed everything in it, he carried the plate in the living room and sat beside taehyung.
"when's the competition?" taehyung asked as jungkook looked up, with his cheeks puffed out because of the food, taehyung slightly chuckled at him as jungkook choked.
"woah hey chill, here" taehyung said as he handed a bottle of water to the younger, jungkook quickly gulped half the bottle down and finally calmed down.
"you okay?" taehyung asked giving him an amused look as jungkook nodded and looked down in embarassment.
"it's next monday, the competition" jungkook said as taehyung nodded.
"where can i get the tickets?" the older asked as jungkook looked at him in slight shock.
"what?" taehyung asked as jungkook shook his head.
"you're gonna come?" jungkook asked as taehyung chuckled and nodded.
"well yeah, would i really be a good roommate and a friend if i didn't come see you at something that you've been working so hard for?" taehyung simply said as he turned back to the tv.
"that's the sweetest thing you've said to me" jungkook said as he grinned
"yeah don't get used to it" taehyung said in a teasing tone as jungkook whined and they both ended up laughing.
