taehyung woke up because of the sounds of utensils ? he rubbed the sleep off his eyes and walked outside to see what the younger was upto.
he saw jungkook in the kitchen, which by the way was a whole mess, it looked like he was trying to make a batter.
"what are you doing?" taehyung asked as he walked towards him.
"well i thought I'd make breakfast pancakes but i'm not sure if i'm doing it right" he muttered as taehyung chuckled.
"we already have pancake batter in the fridge" taehyung said as he took out the batter and handed it to jungkook.
"oh! all this work for nothing" jungkook says as he starts making the pancakes.
once the pancakes were done, jungkook takes two pancakes and places them on a plate, he pours some maple syrup over them and heads to the dining table with the plate.
"hey where's mine?" taehyung asks as jungkook sits down and starts eating the pancakes.
"in the kitchen? where else would it be hyung?" jungkook asks as taehyung rolls his eyes.
"couldn't have given me some too huh?" taehyung asked as he pouted and headed to the kitchen.
"well i believe in self service so that's why" jungkook said grinning as he heard taehyung groan from the kitchen.
"so do you start today? with the dance thing?" taehyung asks as he sit down on the table with his plate.
"oh yes it starts today, i'm so excited but also nervous" jungkook says as taehyung smiles.
"how does the whole thing work though?" taehyung asks as he takes a bite of the pancake.
"well it's the same way an idol group is selected but it's just faster, it only takes a month for the group to be chosen because we've all learned dance" jungkook explains as taehyung nods.
"that sounds so much fun" taehyung says as jungkook grins
"yes but there is gonna be a weekly test where they eliminate people, i just hope i make it through them, i really wanna be in that group" jungkook says as the older just looks at him in admiration.
taehyung absolutely adored jungkook for the amount of passion he had for dancing, the way he always had that full smile whenever he was talking about it really amused taehyung a lot.
"please i'm sure you will be selected, don't worry too much about it and just try to have fun" taehyung says as jungkook nods and smiles
"yes i will, i have to go now, i'll see you at night" jungkook says as he gets up from his seat, grabs his bag that was on the couch and heads out leaving taehyung alone.
once he was sure that jungkook was gone, he put on his uniform and headed to the place that he dreaded the most.
