Mornings like this

Charlotte opened her eyes to the sound of laughter and the smell of coffee that Monday morning.
She hit her alarm and got up putting her robe on to see what was going on. She walked into the kitchen to see that both Archie and Nick were shirtless making breakfast as the others sat waiting.
"Well I could get used to this..." everyone stopped to look at her and Veronica laughed.
"Me and you both. We tried to get jughead to join but he's claiming he doesn't cook." She laughed to herself walking over to take her coffee cup from Nick.
"Good morning my love." He pulled her waist placing a kiss on her lips.
"Hmm good morning Nicky." Betty looked at jughead with a raised eyebrow.
"Why don't I get a good morning like that?" He dropped his fork looking at her with shock.
"Betty I always greet you like that." Archie placed a plate in front of Veronica and came to sit down himself.
"I know I'm just teasing." There was a thump from the stairs and ambrose ran in.
"Good morning cousin, Nick, cousins friends." They all hummed a good morning and Nick passed him a plate.
"Not as good as hilda's I'm afraid ambrose but I'm trying." He chucked taking the plate.
"Thank you Nick. Charlotte will you and Nick be okay to occupy your time tonight? I'm afraid I am needed in greendale to help prudence with the gates of hell." Charlotte hummed a yes and Veronica jumped.
"We should all go to the speakeasy tonight! Celebrate you and Nick reuniting." Charlotte placed her plate in the sink and thought about it.
"I don't know Veronica... last time didn't go very well." Nick wrapped his arms around her from behind resting his chin on her shoulder.
"Well I think it's a great idea Veronica. Come on babe." She gave in and he smiled.
"Great I'll make the plans now we should really get ready for school." Charlotte looked around at them all in their sleepwear and smiled. With a snap of her fingers they were all fully dressed and ready for their day.
"Now that is awesome!" Archie shouted looking at his shirt.

"Oh come on Charlotte!"
"Veronica I don't think people would like that."
"Sure they would!"
"I have to agree with vee. Come on Charlotte it will be fun."
"What is going on." Archie and Nick walked into the student lounge seeing their girlfriends in a heated discussion.
"Veronica's entertainment dropped out tonight." Jughead said matter of factly not looking up from his book.
"So?" Archie sat down pulling Veronica closer as Nick sat down placing a kiss on Charlotte's cheek.
"Well I heard that Charlotte had quite a voice from Kevin. He heard her singing last week in the music room."
"Oh she does." Nick agreed and Charlotte looked at him. "What? You do lottie."
"Anyway. I want her to sing tonight. Just one song." Veronica begged and Nick smirked.
"And I said I would rather spend my night drinking with my man." Nick chuckled leaning towards her.
"Okay but... I just got back from hell sooooo what if I want you to sing?" She groaned and jughead shut his book loudly.
"All those in favour of cherry singing tonight raise a hand." Everyone raised their hand but Charlotte and she groaned.
"Come on Charlotte." Veronica begged the girl and she huffed.
"Fine. Fine. One song." They all continued to joke and laugh then Betty spoke up.
"Oh my god. Charlotte. What are you going to wear tonight." She looked at the girl confused and Veronica gasped.
"Okay tonight I'm sure the boys can entertain themselves and we will go to The Pembroke and get ready we can meet them there at say 7?" They all nodded in agreement when a voice spoke up.
"If she's singing I'm definitely coming." Charlotte turned around to see reggie and smiled with a quick laugh.
"Hey scratch what's up dude." They high fives and reggie looked at Charlotte. "Your boyfriend is crazy good at football Morningstar. You should've got here at the start on the season man." They spoke for a moment before reggie said something about Cheryl.
"What?" The room went quick and Charlotte looked at Nick.
"Lottie calm down. I told her I have a girlfriend. And there was no way." She looked at her friends and smiled.
"Betty apparently I need to speak to your cousin." There was a chorus of oohs and Veronica shook her head.
"A war between you two would break the school. We'd need something better than that."
Archie frowned thinking for a moment when Betty shrugged.
"Invite Cheryl tonight. She sees Nick all over Charlotte she'll back off."
"Betty when has Cheryl blossom ever 'backed off'?" Jughead chucked and Charlotte stood up as the bell rang.
"Oh she will jughead don't worry."
