A/n...A few months pass and Delilah gets into her county's technology school. She applied for cosmetology because she really wants a career doing make up....Just so you get what's going on.
Getting off the bus from a long day at school Delilah slowly walks up her driveway listening to her thoughts and some faint background music. When she steps inside she walks to her room. Her dad (Warren) yells from the other room.
"Yo bitch get your fucking shit done now, before your mom gets home!"
Delilah replies quick with "Yes sir."
(Warren is verbally abusive to Delilah and her mother)
Delilah quickly changes into some comfortable clothes and then begins her chores. As she is putting her laundry in the washer she hears her mom walk in. Annabelle begins to walk out to the kitchen Warren yells "Move ya fucking cunt!"
She cowardly replies "okay."
Delilah walks out of the laundry room and immediately speaks "Hello mother, how was your day?"
Annabelle replies tiredly "It was okay. Can you cook dinner? I'm just too exhausted."
"Yeah. Sure." Delilah says
She begins to boil some water for noodles. Then she places some tomato sauce in a pan along with meatballs.
After boiling the noodles she places a strainer in the sink, when she picks up the pot and turns around to drain the water she accidentally bumps into warren spilling the boiling hot water on him.
"Dammit you fucking bitch watch where you goin!" Warren yells. He then raises his hand and lays a loud and painful smack across Delilah's face.
As Delilah's eyes fill with tears she leaves the mess and runs to her room, slamming her door behind her. She sits on her bed and begins to cry. She then gets up and walks to her closet. She hesitates to open in at first. But then she gets an angry feeling and just rips it open grabbing her razor from the top shelf. She sits back down on her bed and sits the blade on her wrist. Thinking about what she's about to do she begins to cry again. Then she lets the blade swiftly dance across her wrist. Slicing away her beautiful skin. She puts the blade back and then puts in her ear buds to escape the world.
