"Delilah wake up you're gonna be late for school!" Yelled Delilha's mom, Annabelle from the kitchen.
Delilah opens one eye blinded from her bedroom light. She picks up her phone and looks at the time 5:30am she has an hour to get ready. Sitting up she grabs her hand held mirror and grabs her make up bag. Starting off with putting on some moisturizer. She then puts on her concealer, face power, some winged eyeliner, mascara and her favorite pink lip stick. Then she climbs out of bed thronging on some skinny jeans, her MCR black parade tee and converse. Letting out a loud yawn she heads to the bathroom to brush her teeth and put her hair up in a messy bun.
"Delilah, are you almost ready it's almost 6:30!" Annabelle yells.
"Yes mom" Delilah replies, as she walks into the kitchen, slipping her sweatshirt on.
"Do you have all your stuff to ride the bus home to your dads today?" Asked Annabelle.
"Yes mom." Delilah replies with a snappy tone.
"Why do I have to go to his house mom you know I hate him." Says Delilah
"Because Delilah, I'm not going to court over a custody battle with him. Besides it's only for one weekend you'll be fine. " Annabelle replies.
"Now get outside before you miss the bus."
"Okay. I love you bye."
As Delilah picks up her stuff and heads out the door her mother yells "have a good day,I'll see you Sunday. The bus pulls up and Delilah heads to sit in the very back secluding herself from everyone else. As she listens to pierce the veil her thoughts begin to drown the music out.
~Today will be a good day today. Avoid drama as much as possible.~ she thinks repeatedly.
When she arrives at school getting off the bus last she runs into her best friend Melanie.
"Hey bitch, what's up?" Melanie says.
"Hey woman, not much just walkin'."
"You know we have half day today right?" Melanie asks
"Dammit, no my mom didn't tell me but thanks for the heads up." Delilah replies.
"Hey no problem. Well hey I'll see you at Lunch." Melanie says
"Okay, see ya." Delilah replies
They head off into different directions starting their day of school.

30 minutes till the days over Delilah's in study hall.
Pulling out her agenda, she has her teacher sign her out to go to the bathroom. Walking to the bathroom Delilah has her headphones in drowning out the noise around her listening to the lyrics of "I Don't Care if You're Contagious by Pierce the Veil." Then all of a sudden she gets slammed against a stall knocking both earbuds out.
"What up emo bitch?" Says Bailey (Delilah's bully).
"Leave me alone skank ass." Delilah replies
"Bitch stop acting all bad ass, you know you ain't shit." Says Bailey. Before Delilah has time to reply bailey walks out of the bathroom.
Delilah locks herself in the bathroom and cries.
Heading back to class she wipes her tears away and goes in and gathers her stuff. The bell rings and in goes Delilah's earbuds again as she walks by herself to her dads bus. When she gets on there's Melanie waiting for her in their front assigned seat. "Yo bitch." She says
Delilah replies "Hey, how was your day?"
"Good, how bout you?" Asks Melanie. "Eh, Bitchy Bailey shoved me against a stall in the bathroom. Other than that it was okay."
"What a fucking bitch man." Says Melanie
"Yeah." Says Delilah
As they both put in their earbuds Delilah looks at the bus across from her and notices an emo guy from the high school getting on the bus. In
stantly she hits Melanie and points him out. "You see him?" Delilah asks. "Yeah, what about him?" Says Melanie "I have a huge crush on him. I see him all the time but, I have no idea who he is." Delilah says
"Well u need to find out. You two would make a cute couple. Says Melanie
"Yeah probably but, there's no way for me to figure out who he is so that'll never happen." Says Delilah
They both put their earbuds back in and the bus begins to pull away.
