"truth or dare Theo" pansy asks.

"dare" Theo responds, truth or dare is fun but its hard to concentrate when you've got other things to worry about then having to say something embarrassing to a teacher, in fact I would tell anything Snape if It meant I didn't have to confess to Draco, especially right now.

"being brave Nott?" Draco snickers, he looks over to me almost like he's waiting for my reaction but I avoid eye contact.

"shut up, what's the dare then pansy" he tries to stick out his chest confidently but nobody falls for it.

"eat a nosebleed nougat." Pansy smiles. He does it, despite everyone's beliefs and every other dare, everyone's had a go until it comes to me and of course it was Draco's go to ask.

"gowan then blay, truth or dare." He turns to me; I couldn't avoid him now. I think everyone expected me to do dare, but I wasn't risking it with Draco right now.

"truth." I blurt out.

"well, you know what that means, drink it." Dan smiles. The veritaserum burns my throat as it goes down. They were all waiting to see if it worked, none of us had tried it before. I picked up a black pencil and try to tell everyone it was white but I couldn't, it's crazy.

"it's black." I say, even though I didn't want to, it just came out.

"it worked then" daphne piped in, "what are you gonna ask her then Draco?"

I look at him sorrowfully, hoping he won't say anything too bad, he wouldn't, would he?

"it's a hard one, there's so many things I want to ask." He searched until it hit him and I knew because he put his head up and smirked, my heart beat faster than ever and I crossed my fingers.

"what am I, Draco, to you blay?" I swallow the lump in my throat and take a deep breathe, its probably just a dream, I just need to keep my mouth shut until I wake up.

I'm not gonna wake up, everyone's waiting for my answer and I can't lie, I really can't lie and saying nothing didn't work. The only thing I could do was walk out, yeah that will work, all I have to do is tell them I want to leave, easy enough.

"guys I- Draco is the love of my life." I cover my mouth and run out the room before anyone can say anything, I cant believe that just happened, and it was the truth and everyone knew it, this is the reason the truth scared me, because nothing ever good comes from the truth.
