Cassie's POV

I stand in front of the mirror checking out my outfit and a small smile tugs at my lips. I'm wearing a white long sleeved crop top that buttons up the front and a pink checkered skirt that has two small slits up each leg which I paired with white Nike's.

As I'm looking in the mirror, I hear a crash downstairs and immediately go to check it out. Once I reach the living room I see Rafe picking up a broken cup.

"You okay, Rafie?" I ask him curiously and he smiles, nodding.

I help him clean up the broken glass and we snuggle up on the sofa, watching a tv show I've never seen before. The show starts to bore me and I think Rafe too due to the fact he pulls me onto his lap. I smile at him, winding my arms around his neck and he grips my thighs, reaching out to connect our lips. He runs his hand up my side to my chest and starts unbuttoning my top as I run my fingers through his already messy hair.

All of a sudden I hear a loud cough and I look over at the door to see Wheezie standing there with a backpack.

"Holy shit!" I gasp, jumping off Rafe and buttoning up my top.

"I'm sorry" Rafe says sheepishly as the girl walks further into the room, dumping her bag next to the table.

"Don't worry. I'm not gonna tell anybody" She smiles as I pull my skirt down to cover my ass.

"This place is sweet" The girl comments, looking around the room "How'd you get Cassie to let you stay here?"

Rafe glances at me and I smile, sitting down on his lap.

"I guess, I'm just a sucker for lost puppies" I joke and he pokes me in the ribs with a playful glare.

"Hey, could I crash here?" Wheezie asks as I wrap my arm around Rafe's neck.

"Sure, babe. What's wrong at home?" I ask her in concern.

"Dad trying to kick you out too?" Rafe asks.

"Worse. I'm officially the least favourite daughter" Wheezie scoffs and I frown "Sarah and dad are going to the Bahamas, and did they invite me? Nope"

"Your dad's taking Sarah to the Bahamas?" I ask in shock.

this is not good

"In summer?" Rafe adds.

"Yeah. I mean, according to Rose, it's 'business'" Wheezie says, making fun of the older woman "I mean, they're all up in some new development, and for some super secret reason, they're going to the Bahamas"
