Chapter 34 : Book of Beast
"This lowly humans! You think this divine belongs to you ? Bah!stinky humans don't deserve any of it!", The huge imoogi cackling to himself while slittering fast towards the where the divine component is. It's huge eyes shining with greed in thinking the benefits he'll get when he get to consume the divine. But his face dimmed a little when he remembered something.
"Just let me take it first, then I don't care whatever you all do!", With hurried movements ,he wave his tail towards the thick wall infront of him, it crushed and creates a hole that can fit his huge size.
"Hhmp!, A divine and my partake to the fiest later..,,this is a very good day!," The Imoogi confidently slitter again towards the dark hole he made.
The third layer of the land of beast is filled with voices of agony after the Giganticus descend . Spirit beast or cultivators,. There's no difference. Majority of them are devoured the moment they are seen.
A woman on the back of the Giganticus is composedly watching the scene.She has a dark purple eyes ,long dark hair with three braids on her left head, Her long red robe with wide sleeves is partially covering one of her hand that is covered in dark gloves and emitting ominous aura.
She looked particularly at the two little woman who triggered the teleportation sygil, they had this extremely powerful barrier that even a Giganticus can't break, but as she look on its source , it is coming from a single talisman.
"Weaklings" she snorted then lay on the Giganticus broad back and close her eyes. She looked like she doesn't care on whatever is happening around her.
The two little women is Yueji and Xueqing. When they open the barrier , the two of them never expect that it will trigger a teleportation sygil! . It is because of the talisman that is bestowed to them by their young master that they are still alive . It activates automatically when it detected a highly ominous aura. They are covered instantly by a high level spirit barrier that is so thick that even the sharp teeth and stomp of Giganticus can't break it!
When the Giganticus ran out of patience with their barrier. It turn its attention to other Cultivators in the area! The two cultivators that is fighting with them a while ago are instantly turns to human paste even if they already activated their defensive treasure. The Giganticus crush the treasure with one stomp and blood sips under its foot from the mush . A very terrible sight to witness.
But it doesn't end there. Its long tail sway and whip the tall trees and hills around!. That one move flatten few hundred meters of land! Whatever it sees, Cultivators or beasts all die .
Yueji is still trembling from fright while Xueqing is on guard, she looks valiant but on the inside ,she is thoroughly shaken. What's happening is beyond what they ever witness in their life! How could the simple competition become something this terrible?. They can't connect any communication to the outside . Teleportation and the monitoring plates become useless. Does their clan knew what's happening to them now? What will happen to them?.
The Giganticus walks towards the entrance to the next layer. Thundering sounds and shaking land with every step announced it's terrifying presence. Cultivators are scurrying away like small beasts when they see or felt the Giganticus. No one wants to step on its way.
The fourth layers is different from the second layer. The cultivators here are far daring ,more savage and they had their own stashes of life saving treasures. The fight between the young masters of clans and the Giganticus has started!
Fang Yunxu of Fang Clan is true to his title as Crazy, He is the first one to attack as if he never felt afraid, Facing the three raging Giganticus ,with two sword in his hands, he fought as if there's no tomorrow. Never stepping back even if he is injured!,
Mei Ying of Lotus River Sect didn't disappoint either. Her attacks maybe lighter than Fang Yunxu,but she is the fastest of all the Cultivators around here. Short sword in her hands never stop moving , either to attack or to defend. Sneaking attacks everywhere possible!
Gu Yun from Sublime mages school is the one who is on the back. Producing some high damaging attack spells while the two independent Cultivators is around him. Shielding him from Giganticus attacks. It is obvious that the three of them hastily made an agreement to make a group in this calamity.
The Song twins are infront of Gu Yun. They had their own Barrier that even Mei Ying and Gu Yun is envious of. It is a very thick barrier that who knows how to crack down .Song Weisheng keeps attacking with a bow and arrow from a far. While Song Wenyan is observing the man on the back in one of the Giganticus. That person they all think is the most dangerous than this Giganticus.
The man is just watching them all attack while sitting with hand on his cheek. His smile makes all of them more cautious. It is as if he is laughing at them. When one of the Giganticus started bleeding,his smile becomes even more wider. His eyes almost in slits.
The number three Giganticus sway it's tail towards Gu Yun, directly attacking their barrier! But the treasure that supporting their barrier is good enough not to be damage by that direct assault!. The owner of it,the independent cultivator paled a little from the power consumption.
Song Weisheng and Gu Yun at the same time attack the third Giganticus . Gu Yun launches several fire spell around the beast body . It's skin is so thick that the attack only blacken its skin a bit. But that's enough to divert its attention. Weisheng's arrows have incantations, and he bind a talisman at the same time, While Gu Yun is attacking , he looks at the demon beast mouth. Carefully and never let this arrow miss its target.His arrow directly hits the demon beast in the mouth ! Inside the demon beast mouth, the arrow explodes and even bits of flesh and blood splatters everywhere near it! An ear splitting roar from the heavily injured Giganticus assault their head.
The man look at the third Giganticus. Its head is almost gone and bleeding profusely. The neck is already dangling .
"Oh, someone's got a good stuff! .... " His smile is getting more dazzling.
