Is it a loss..? Or is it a win? I play this game everyday. And I always win. I don't let them in but I pretend to. They eat it up and fall head over heels in love with me..then I drop them. Let them fall and walk on to the next one. Then repeat.

I stand on the corner watching. She just sits on her steps everyday. I've been watching for almost a week. There's just something about her that catches my eye. Not drop dead gorgeous....not rich...not poor... She's just average... So why am I bothering with her? This has to be the most annoying thought of the week.

"Hey baby!" Some guy yells towards her. She smiles and waves. They kiss. Damn! She's straight. Well...now that I know, I wont bother with her. I wont be annoyed with the thought of her any longer. I walk home in the cold, smoking my blunt, relaxing and forgetting every thought of her. I am content.
