Kenma had told (Y/N) that he'd pick her up, especially since it was dark. He walked to her apartment complex. It was darker in comparison to his own. He was hesitant to walk into the building but he did. The halls were dimly lit, giving the building an abandoned vibe.
He decided to take the stairs, not trusting the elevator. He began to look for the number of her apartment. He frowned slightly, realising his mistake with trusting the stairs. He took a deep breath. Why am I so unfit? He continued to walk up the stairs.
Once he made it, he was panting softly. He gently knocked on the front door, awaiting for (Y/N). Only for her roommate to answer the door instead. "Kenma?"
"Hey... Is (Y/N) ready?"
"Oh, she's in her room." Himari smiled "come in. You look like you could use some water."
Kenma nodded and walked into the apartment. It was much brighter in comparison to the rest of the building. There were plants and books everywhere, blankets all over the couch. It was messy, but it seemed like it was supposed to.
"(Y/N) decorated." Himari clarified as they grabbed a glass of water. "Something about the aesthetic."
"It's nice." He sat down on the couch. Himari only nodded, walking over to Kenma to hand him the glass.
"Alright. I have some rules for tonight." Kenma rose his brows in confusion as he sipped at the water. "Back before midnight, she needs to stay home for one night."
"Also, don't make her pay. She'll tell you that she can, but she needs to let others pay every once in a while."
"Make sure she doesn't talk about her ex, at all. It ruins the mood.""How?"
"It just does." Himari huffed. "Besides, it puts her in a bad mood."
"What puts me in a bad mood?" (Y/N) had walked out of her room.
Her roommate gave an innocent smile. "Horror movies obviously. Remember how last time you-"
"I get it. Don't need to bring it up again." (Y/N) interrupted. She walked over to Kenma "ready to go?"
He nodded and handed Himari the glass. "Thank you." He took (Y/N)'s hand before leading her out of the apartment. It startled her, but he had a bad feeling about the building.
"Kenma, are you okay?"
"Oh uh... Yeah." He was leading her down the stairs. "This place just... Creeps me out."
"Really?" She tilted her head. "I would have thought you'd love it, since it gives off a horror game vibe."
"Just cause I like those games, doesn't mean they're not scary." He huffed softly, leading her down the stairs. (Y/N) could only smile as she followed him.

"What's your favourite movie?" (Y/N) asked. They had gotten themselves ice cream and sat on a bridge as they ate.
"I don't really have one." He stared at his ice cream "I don't have time for TV really..."
"Why not?"
"I'm a gamer, I'm also a student." He chuckled softly. "Not really a lot of time for movies and stuff... Kuroo tries to get me to watch stuff with him, but I've got a switch."
(Y/N) pouted slightly but nodded slightly. "I guess I know what you mean. I have trouble focusing on a full movie... I usually get distracted within the first 5 minutes."
