You were staying at your parents house for the weekend, because your grandmother had fallen very ill. It was now nighttime, and as you laid in bed, you felt lonely.

Obviously you cared about your grandmother, and wanted to be there for possibly her last few days, but what was really causing your pain was how much you missed your boyfriend, Anakin Skywalker.

Grabbing one of his old t-shirts that you had snuck into your suitcase before you left, you pressed your face into it, his comforting and warm scent causing you to miss him even more.

After five minutes of just laying there hugging Anakin's shirt, you glanced at the chronometer. It was around 1:00am, and the room was silent other than the calm rain pattering against the roof and the faint snoring of family members in other rooms.

You slowly drifted off to sleep, thinking about the sweet sound of Anakin's laughter and how much he cared about you, even though attachments are against the Jedi code. And that smile...

That was the last thing you thought about before you dozed off.

But you woke up abruptly a few hours later to hear the sound of faint tapping on your window. You brushed it off, thinking it was just the rain outside that, over these past few hours, had grown into a violent thunderstorm.

As a giant crash of lightning came and lit up your whole bedroom, the tapping on your window turned into banging. You tiredly got up and turned on the lamp, then walked over to the window. Your eyes adjusted and... Anakin?!

He gave a sheepish grin as you slid the window open. He stepped into your room (and almost tripped over the windowsill in the process) completely drenched in rain. He shook his wet hair and ran his hand through it, then looked down at you and smirked. "Hey, (y/n)."

You looked him up and down, him completely towering over you, "Ani?! Wha- what are you doing here? Here, you're completely soaked, let me get you a towel..." You turned away to head over to the closet, but he grabbed your arm and pulled you to face him, then cupped your face in his hands and softly kissed you.

"I've missed you, (y/n). It feels like we've been apart for a lifetime." In between his kisses, you giggle, "Anakin, it was only a few days."

He pulled away and gave fake puppy dog eyes, "So you didn't miss me? Not one bit?"

"Don't be silly! Believe me, I could hardly bear not being around you every second I could." You assured him as you grabbed a towel from a hook and started to gently dry him.

"Oh yeah? And why is that?" Anakin asked as he took your hands in his.

"Because..." Gazing into his eyes, you untangle your fingers from his and wrap your arms around his neck, "Because you're my everything, Ani."
