Ruhana's POV
Vineet called Sameer to have a checkup on Aarav's health. I was sitting on the bed holding Aarav's hand tightly.
His state just horrified me, the way he was pleading to us to get his eyesight back was something no parents should face.
I remembered a memory...
We had gone to Shimla for vacation during his school holidays. Aarav saw someone doing the ice-skating and he demanded "Dad.. I wants skates"
Vineet replied.. "Aarav tumhe har cheez chahiye hoti hai.. Main nahi dila raha hun"
"Kyun??" he asked the reason.
"Kyuki tumhara shauk sirf kuch din rahega phir skates ghar ke kaune mein pade rahenge" I replied.
Aarav made a face and said stubbornly "Skates chahiye toh chahiye aap dono mujhse pyaar nahi karte ho"
He started his emotional blackmail, but I was very much aware of it. I denied "nahi mil rahe hai skates tumhe"
He glanced at me for the last time, then at vineet.. "Pakka??" he questioned.
I stood crossing my hands around the chest determined at the decision. He stamped his foot and headed back towards the hotel room.
Vineet sighed "aa jayega thodi der mein.." he said.
