Aarav opened his eyes, he touched his watch and the voice said "10 am". He was left surprised as his mother didn't wake him up maybe she was busy with her work he assumed.
He sat up straight and called "maa...."
"Aarav 10-minute aati hun..." she shouted back.
He stood up and walked towards the wardrobe. He touched it and slide the door. He touched his clothes and tried to recognise them. He managed to grab them and then went to the bathroom.
He freshened up and then took a bath. He stepped out of the bathroom and then combed his hair. He went out of the room and heard his mother voice "ready ho gaye.. baitho main nashta deti hun"
"Aaj aapne uthaya nahi mujhe?" he questioned her.
"raat tum der se soye they na isliye" Ruhana replied while heading into the kitchen.
Aarav reached the kitchen and stood at the door, Ruhana smiled looking at him.
"pata hai.. tumhari bachpan ki aadat hai jab bhi main kitchen mein tumhare liye kuch banati thi tum khade ho jaate they aise" Ruhana exclaimed.
Aarav smiled remembering it and said "Aur yahi khade khade main kha jaata tha Dad ke liye kuch nahi chodta tha"

"haa.." Ruhana replied.
Aarav closed his eyes and smelled it. He just got excited for a moment and ran towards her. He ended up hitting the stool, and his head hit the slap.
Ruhana grabbed him before he could hurt himself more. "Aarav.. sambhalke you have to remember... dekh nahi sakte ho tum" she scolded him.
She kept her hand on his head pressing it lightly. He sighed in pain "kya karun maa.. abhi tak aadat nahi hui"
"janti hun main.. par careful raha karo" Ruana replied and asked him to move to the dining table.
Aarav agreed and headed towards the hall. He sat down at the dining table, after few minutes Ruhana came and kept the breakfast on the table.
Aarav was about to touch it but Ruhana said "haath nahi.. garam hai spoon lo"
Aarav agreed and picked the spoon. He took a bit and smiled "poha..."
Ruhana glanced at him, she was just lost in past. She was trying to adapt to the change in her life.
The doorbell ranged, Ruhana moved and opened the door. It was their neighbour close friend. She wished her "happy Wedding Anniversary Ruhana..." she nearly shouted.
Ruhana sighed, she smiled "thank you Sharda"
"what thank you? har saal ki tarah party hogi na sham ko? Aarav plan karta hai I am just so excited" Sharda spoke not aware of Aarav's condition.
Ruhana let her inside, Sharda looked at Aarav "itne mahine se tum toh dikhe hi nahi Aarav..."
Aarav passed her a plastered smile "Sharda maasi.. bas zindagi ko wapas track pe laane ki koshish kar raha tha" he said.
