What is the System?

This system is one where you resolve all of your problems by making others fight for you! I mean, what is easier than that? You either get to be rich and own a gladiator, or you get to be a gladiator and fight to the death with other gladiators.

How does it work?

It works pretty much like any command game, but there is a lot of specialness to it. There are two sides in this game, the gladiators and the royalty! The royalty own the gladiators, and most only own one gladiator at a time. The royalty are blessed by one of the six gods, and they are able to get special powers. The gladiators fight for the royalty, and most fights will not kill them. Sometimes, when the royalty is mad enough at each other, the gladiators will fight to the death.

Ranks

Instead of just ranks, we have titles. There is a detailed section about each rank and title below.

Royalty

King and Queen - The highest ranked royalty. They do not have to be mates, but they are the two royalty that have the best gladiators. These two royalty are lucky enough to be blessed by Aardia, the goddess of the earth.

Dutch and Dutchess - These have the next best gladiators in the tribe. They are high ranked, falling just under the King and Queen. They are fortunate enough to be blessed by Mortara, the goddess of darkness.

Earl and Countess - Not the most high ranked, but also not the worst. Their gladiators are of average strength and style. These two royalty are blessed by Claria, the goddess of light.

Viscount and Viscountess - These royalty have just below average gladiators. They can always work their way up through fights, but being a Viscount or a Viscountess isn't all that bad. They are blessed by Infernus, the goddess of fire.

Baron and Baroness - Low ranking royalty. Their gladiators are one of the worst, but thankfully not the worst. They have been chosen by Aerio, the god of air, and one of their special abilities is being able to heal with their power.

Knight and Dame - These two royalty have picked the worst gladiators. Their gladiators have won no fights, and are the weakest. They have been lucky enough to be blessed by Zatle, the god of water.

Gladiators

The Gladiators are the poor cats who are owned by one of the royalty! They often spend their money on style points, trying to become the most stylish gladiator so that their owner can be high ranked. The lower ranked your owner is, the farther down the totem pole you are, meaning you eat later and later than everyone else. The gladiators are not blessed by any god, and are merely seen as pawns for their owners. Very few have a chance of becoming a royalty.

Powers

Earth

Anyone with a earth ability will be able to have +5 to their defense rolls in attacks, and more likely to survive in natural disasters, as they are hardier than any other cat.

Darkness

Anyone with the darkness ability is able to do sin commands and have a lesser chance of getting caught. They have learned how to use the darkness to survive, and do what they want.

Water

Anyone with the water ability is able to survive in any flood, as they have water breathing. Their god has allowed them the ability to do such.

Fire

Anyone with the fire ability is able to have +5 to their attack rolls in attacks. They are also more likely to survive in fires, as their goddess protects them.

Air

Anyone with the air ability is able to heal others! It takes a lot in order to learn how a body works, and how to use your magic to keep a cat alive, but your god has given you the ability to do it.

Light

Anyone with the light ability is able to have higher fertility than any other rank! You get +1 kit to your litter, as your goddess shines down upon you with a smile.

Currency

The tribe uses opals as their currency. You are able to search for opals every other moon, or the gods will give you a penalty the next time you look for opals. You can use opals for two things, gladiators or style points! You can also buy other things, but those aren't as important, as most of that stuff is cosmetics! You can find everything you can buy in the Store!

Style

Style is a gladiator specific trait! The more style you have, the more chances you have to winning a battle. In order to get more style, you can buy them off the Style Tree. The admins will check you off on your own tree that we will help you work through.

You start off with 0 style. The first tier you get gives +5 style. Every style on the second their gives you +10 more style. All the style on the third tier gives you +20 style, and then finally the final tier gives you +40 style.

Every +5 style you have, will give you a 5% chance more of winning against your opponent, so it is very important to stack them.
