Ahsoka POV
We begin riding down the grassy fields of Lothal. I try to focus on the small Town in front of me that is slowly growing bigger as we approach it. I scan the town for enemies, escape routes, and potential information hubs. The empire is also on Lothal. We stop riding the bikes just out of town near a small alley way. We pull the bikes into the ally and continue into town.
"So the empire is all the way out here now?" I say to Ezra.
"Yeah well the empire is everywhere now, I mean there isn't a place they're not." He says it like it's common knowledge, which it probably is.
"I see..." is the only way I could respond to learning something like that.
"It's not all bad you know." He says trying to recover from the bad atmosphere.
"How so?" I ask trying to look on the bright side."
"Well there's people like me and you. Where here trying to make thing better!"
"Trying?" I ask.
"No were not trying we are doing because." He starts to say the next part but I cut him off
"There you do or do not there is no try? I finish what he was saying. He looks at me astounded.
"Wait you now that saying! I've only heard my master say that!" I chuckle
"Yes I new who your master Learned that saying from." I point out.
"What really? Was he as hard to understand as Kanan says?" Ezra asks
"Well, sometimes. He liked to help all of us understand in our own way." I laughed.
"He wanted us to look to the future but learn from the past." I stated.
"Well that dose sound right." He agreed.
I look around the small town as we walk though . The Busy chatter about all the town folks.
"Well the town isn't to big but it's not to small." I say as a complement.
"Yeah it's where I grew up. This place means a lot to me." Ezra says happily.
"I'm glad one of us still have somewhere like that." I smile.
Right after I say that Ezra COM goes off.
He answers it to hear Sabines voice
"Hay you need to come back to the ship Hara and I are heading out, and Kanan wants to talk you two." He presses the but not on the side of the COM to respond
"Yeah sure thin we are on our way back now."
He says to Sabine.
"You ready to go?" Ezra looks at me wanting for my answer.
"Yeah, sure let's get going." I replied.
We both start our way back to the bikes.
