After the phantom docs on the ghost, I go straight to my room and jump on the top bunk. I roll over to face the wall trying to go to sleep, which must have worked. I am awaken by the sound of my room's doors sliding open.

"Hay Hara wanted me to tell you we will be landing on Lothal in 10 minutes."  Zeb whispers, like he thinks I am asleep. I lift my hand and give him a thumbs up. I don't really fell like talking to anyone right now. He leaves without saying another word. I jump off the bunk. I go down to the cargo door and wait a few seconds for it to open. As the door swiftly go down I fallow in suit, I only get halfway and sit down. Staring at the grass of Lothal, thinking about the girl, about Kanan but mostly what I did or didn't do for Kanan.I hear footsteps behind me I know who they belong to, its Kanan.

"Look, don't bother saying it. I'm letting you off the hook." I just blurred out without thinking. "Well it's not like I have any other choices." I think to myself.

"What are you talking about?" Kanan says confused.

"I know you wanted to dump me on Luminarar. Just 'cause she's gone doesn't mean you're stuck with me." I say this well waving one arm aimlessly in the air.

"I don't want to dump you." Kanan sighs. He rubs his face with one hand then comes and sits next to me.
"Look, I just wanted you to have the best teacher." He says in defeat.

"Well, I don't want the best teacher! I want you." I yell and swing my hands towards him in an obvious motion. Then I realize what I just said. I feel like I need to shrink into the ground now.
"Uh, not that you're not the best. I-" I am cut off by Kanan starting to talk after I tried to climb out of the hole I just dug myself.

"Ezra. I'm not gonna try to teach you anymore." With those words my hart sank to the bottom of the sea. I look away as I try and hide my feelings.

"If all I do is try, that means I don't truly believe I can succeed. So from now on, I will teach you." With those words I fell all of the Weight lift off my chest. I look over at him surprised. Kanan sighs deeply.

"I may fail. You may fail. But there is no try." He sounds so sure of himself, its comforting. I look down at the ground felling bad about all I thought here recently. But he is giving me a second chance!

"I understand... Master." I say very gratefully.
"Let's see if you do." Kanan pulls out his light saber And hands it to me. He stands up and starts walking. He walked to a dirt patch not far from the ghost, I follow . He picks up some rocks and I turn on the light saber. I stand ready, he throw a rock  towards me I deflect it. Then he throws another I deflect it again, we repeat this a few more times. I hear foot steps so I look over to see Sabin running down the ramp Kanan and I look at her with worried faces.

"The girl, she's awake!" Sabine yells as she runs back into the ship.
