Chapter 1

Maya's POV

"Hey riles" I say and walk up to my two best friends
"Hey maya" riley says then hugs me
"Hey maya" Farkle says all flirty
"Farkle" I say

Farkle puts his arm around riley and I.

"Ahhhh, my two ladies, isn't this just great" Farkle said
"Oh yea it's perfect wanna take ur arm off me now" I said
"U love me" Farkle said pointing at me
"Leave me alone" I said pointing back at him.

Riley just laughed and we all went off to our class. History with Mr. Matthews.

"Morning class!" Mr. matthews said
"Morning" the class repeated
"Today we are going to talk about-" mr. Matthews was cutt off by Lucas walking in.
"Sorry sir, I had to help my family move boxes into our new apartment" he apologized and sat in his seat
"Oh u moved?" Riley asked
"Yea, we moved our stuff in this morning" lucas said
"Where'd u move?" Farkle asked
"I dunno, someplace downtown, across from really gross apartments" Lucas said

O my god. "Really gross apartments"!?! There was an apartment for sale across from my apartment, I can see into a room right from my window! But that can't be him right? He couldn't of moved there right?

"U guys wanna come over after school?" Lucas asked
"Sure Maya and I -" I cutt riley off
"Can't make it! Riles and I have to go...ummm...shopping today! Yea that's right! Shopping!" I said really nervously
"But Maya u don't like to go-" I cutt her off again
"Yea well we're going." I said
"Yay! Sorry Lucas, but Maya never wants to go shopping with me, I have to take her up on her offer, but maybe u can show me ur house some other time. k?"she said all flirty. ugh.
"Yea um ok. What about u Maya? Maybe tomorrow?" Lucas asked
"Don't know cowboy, maybe." I smirked and turned back around in my seat.

Farkle's POV

Lucas and I walk into his new house. I swear this neighborhood is so familiar. We go up to his room, and across from his room I can see straight into Maya's room! I think this is why Maya didn't want to come, she probably put together what Lucas said. Maya never wants to go shopping. I run over to the window when Lucas turns around and shut his curtains.

"What do u think?" Lucas asks gesturing to his new room.
"It's really cool man" I said kinda nervously
"U ok Farkle?" He asked
"Yea! Ur room is just so much cooler than UR old room! Really cool!" I said
"Ok...wanna go get something to eat" he asked
"Yea" I said

We walked out of his room. All I was thinking about is I have to tell Maya and riley. I get out my phone and when Lucas goes to the bathroom I text maya.

F- Maya! Lucas's new house is across from yours!
M- what!?! I knew it! Omg what am I gonna do! He can't know that I live in the houses he called gross!
F- hey hey relax I'll just distract him when u and riley come back so he won't know u live here
M-Thx but Farkle
F- yea
M- is he the house that can see right through my bedroom window
F-yea
M-o my god! I don't even have curtains! Bye Farkle I have to go.

Crap. She's mad. Lucas walks back into the room when I get a text.

Riley- Maya and I r coming back to her house,make sure u guys don't come to his room!

Well, I guess she told riley. How do I distract him?

"Hey! Let's play some ummm..softball." I suggest
"Farkle u hate baseball, remember in gym class when Maya kept trying to pitch to u and u kept distracting her." Lucas said
"Uh...yea but I was at Maya's house and she taught me how to not be afraid anymore" I said
"U were at Maya's house?" He asked
"Yea" I said
"Huh. Maybe we should go to Maya's and see if she wants to join us". He said
"No!" I yelled
"Why?" He asked
"She...um...may still be with riley! Oh yea! Shopping,they may still be shopping!"i said happy that I came up with an excuse
"Ok, well I'll call her" he started to pay around his pockets for his phone "hang on a sec its in my room"

And he ran upstairs to his room, i ran up behind him but he was too fast, I hope the girls aren't in Maya's room.
