Chapter 4

Maya's POV

I opened the window letting in...

"Lucas! What RU doing here?" I asked
"Maya please I know u feel the same way about me" Lucas said
"Lucas I do, I really, really like u too, but I just CANT do that to riley." I said
"Maya please" he begged
"Fine. I'll be ur girlfriend, but no one can find out about, ESPECIALLY riley, got it?" I said, and I'm so happy I did
"Yes!!! Yea ok! Yaya Maya hart is my girlfriend!" He yelled out my window

I giggled at much he really cared about me. Then he turned around and kissed me! My first kiss. I loved it and it was with Lucas my boyfriend. Ah. I love calling him my boyfriend. We cuddled and talked for the rest of the night, before falling asleep.

"Maya relax everything is gonna be fine" Lucas whispered to me as we walked into school together.

I am shaking like a crazy person. It feels like I am betraying my best friend. But, I also couldn't be happier. Although we can't publicly be together yet, it still feels great that Lucas, my cowboy, is my boyfriend.

"No nothing's gonna be fine! What if Riley is asking why we walked to school together, we never do that!" I whisper yelled
"She's not going to ask, trust me." Lucas said planting a gentle kiss on my forehead.

Riley comes running up behind us and I push Lucas away from me then wink at him to let him know it's just because Riley's here. He winks back and riley comes up and stands in between us.
"Hey maya" riley says to me then turns over to Lucas
"Grown up voice" I say before she says anything to him
"Lucas hello." she says in her "grown up" voice, honestly I feel really uncomfortable right now.
"Uh hey riley what's up" lucas asked
"Well, Maya didn't pick me up this morning so I came in by myself and saw u two walking into school together so my question is why?" Riley spat out

Lucas and I looked at each other. What am I gonna say. I look back at Lucas and he just about to say something.

"Oh uh well Maya needed a tutor, so u know yea." lucas said nervously
"Ok I guess, we'll Maya u could've just asked me to tutor u" Riley said
"Oh I um didn't ask him, because I always make fun of him so that wouldn't make any sense right? Right. um.... ur dad! Yep. UR dad told lucas to tutor me. yeah that's what happened" I said
"Wow. um ok then" Riley said
"yea so that's why we walked to school together" Lucas said
"Wait a sec, maya, wouldn't he have to come to ur house to walk u to school" riley asked
"Uh no we met up a cafe, to study" I stuttered
"Really?" Riley asked not buying it
"Of course riley" Lucas said and she nodded suddenly believed it. ugh.
"Well I guess I'll see u guys in class" riley said then went to her locker.

That was a close one. This whole secret thing is gonna be a lot harder then I thought.

Wow. Well what u guys didn't know is that Farkle never told Lucas that Maya lived at where he visited her yesterday night. Lucas just thought it was some abandoned house, he doesn't know Maya lives there. Oohhhhhh. drama.
