Axle's POV

It was super dark out. The forest creatures continued their calm lullaby. I was really tired from all the running and fighting. I could feel Ahsoka's head sleeping against my shoulder. Her right hand laid on my chest and her legs were stretched out on top of each other . Her breasts were squished against my chest and her montrals were dangling down. I rested my head against the top of her forehead. My left hand wrapped around her pulling her closer.

The quietness was interrupted by a huge burst of explosions. Ahsoka and I opened our eyes and looked up at the sky. The Separatist blockade was under attack. "It's Anakin." Ahsoka said looking back at me, "I know it is." I smiled at her, "I do too." But our smiles slowly disappeared. We were overjoyed that Anakin found us, but we won't be able to feel this way about each other anymore. The past few weeks have given us time to understand how we feel about each other. That would make it more difficult for us to do our jobs as Jedi. It might become so much of a problem that we might have to split up. If we don't, we could become blinded by the Jedi code entirely. Ahsoka tried to grin, "Well, we're finally getting out of here." I could tell she wasn't too excited. But I played along, "Yep, we're getting off this rock. Getting back to our old lives." I know she could tell I wasn't fully happy about that either.

Anakin's POV

Rex and I along with a squad of clones rushed to the hangar. We all boarded the Twilight and I maned the controls. The large, red hangar bays opened and we flew out of the ship. Chase still hasn't launched any fighters yet. The Separatist ships keeped getting closer and closer, but the Predator's guns were shredding them apart. Vultra droids approached us, but I maneuvered around them. I flew us closer to the dreadnought. They wouldn't risk shooting at us if we were too close to their capital ship. Their giant point-defense cannons tried to knock us out of the fight, but I wouldn't let it. It won't be long before we break through the droid's defenses.

Axle's POV

Ahsoka and I continued to looked at the dark sky. Bright explosions lit up the night from the battle above. The sound of explosions echoed through the forest. The sun was rising from it's sleep, providing a little light for us to see in the dark. There was no way we could get to Anakin. He'll have to get to us. But what about the Krayt Dragon droid? Dooku would most likely build more. We need to do something about it.

Ahsoka stood up, "I need to relieve myself. Be right back." She walked off into some bushes down next to the stream. I laid back against the large boulder and looked up at the sky. Since the droid fleet was much closer to the planet, I could see them better, but now I could barely make out the Predator closing the gap.

Ahsoka's POV

I started walking back from the stream when a voice came out of nowhere, "You should have kept running, young one." I jumped back in a gasp turning towards Dooku. I quickly ignited my sabers and readied myself. Dooku raised his hands, "I am not here to fight you." "And why is that?" I asked, not letting my guard down. "Because that would be pointless." Dooku started, "I would gain nothing from your death. However, I would make an exception for young Tinguard. If you step aside now, I will let you go." I gritted my teeth and squinted my eyes in anger, "You are not going to touch Axle. You'll have to go through me." Dooku frowned, "Like I said, I would gain nothing from your death. I am not a murderer. The reason I want Tinguard is because he did something to me that cuts deeper than a blade." I paused and thought of what he said. Axle never really did anything to Dooku. I tried to read the Count's face and started to put the pieces together, "You're jealous of him." He grit his teeth, "That boy does not deserve the power he possesses. He is too foolish, arrogant, and naive. Yet, my old Master favors him more than he ever did for me." "Axle is no longer the kid he once was. He's grown into a smart and confident leader. I look up to him. We all do." Dooku turned to leave, "You better hope you are right. Or else you both will not go home. And neither will the innocent villagers of that poor town." Then he was gone as quickly as he appeared.
