Comatose (Ahsoka X Axle)

I Sense Them

Anakin's POV

My fleet and I have been searching non-stop. Both Axle and Ahsoka were MIA for almost three days. We found the ruins of the Separatist dreadnought, but there was no sign of them. We searched parsecs and parsecs and nothing. 

Obi-Wan walked onboard the bridge. He saw how tense I was. "Don't worry. We've found some camera footage from the destruction. It shows both of them launching in an escape pod. Axle got shot twice. One bolt to the chest and another to the back, but as far as we know they're alive." He said. I exhaled slowly, "I sense what happened. They crashed. I don't know where but they're in pain Master. Terrible pain." Obi-Wan put his hand on my shoulder, "We'll find them. We just have to keep searching. They'll be fine. They have each other." He walked away as I closed my eyes to meditate. 

I felt Ahsoka's pain. Her screams from the crash and the cracking of her bones echoed in my mind. Out of nowhere the screams and groans stopped. In its place came a wave of comfort and safety. I focused more on that feeling and I saw Axle holding her. They smiled in their sleep. My eyes snapped open. They were in love. But that.....that can't happen. It's strictly against the Jedi code. If Obi-Wan finds out, they'll be expelled. I have to find them first. I should be furious, but I wasn't. I know how it feels to have such a strong connection. They were best friends since they were kids. I saw them kiss. I don't know how I felt. First they both fall for each other and now they're kissing. I saw Ahsoka moving her hands onto his chest and Axle moved his hands up her skirt. Teenagers. They only think with their pants. 

Rex walked over to me, "General, what's going on?" I opened my eyes and turn to look at him, "Part of me doesn't want to find them." Rex looked confused, "Why is that, sir?" I sighed, "They broke the Jedi code. If we find them, that'll ruin their connection. I just don't think I can do that." "So, we're just gonna pretend we don't know anything just like you and Padme?" Rex asked. I nodded, "We have to find them and bring them home, but I don't want to destroy what they have. If they're found out their lives are over."
