Down and Broken

Axle's POV

I slowly opened my eyes and blinked. It was extremely dark. The front half of the pod was buried in what looked like sand. I tried moving, but I felt a large burst of pain. "Axle? Are you ok?" I heard a voice whisper. I looked around, "Ahsoka? Where are you? It's so dark." I felt a hand glide across my chest. It felt soothing through all the pain. I gave a slow sigh of relief, "Found you." She laid next to me. We stayed there for a while and looked up into the blackness. I finally broke the silence, "Ahsoka?" "Yea?" She replied softly. I took in a deep breath, "That sucked." She giggled a little and held my hand, "Yep. That sucked." I felt Ahsoka's hand in mine. We never held hands before. My breathing slowed and my heart rate increased.

"We should try and get out of here." Ahsoka whispered. I groaned trying to stand up. I placed down my right leg and I was fine, but then I lowered my left leg and I felt emance pain shocking my entire lower body. I screamed out in pain and fell into the sand. Ahsoka tried to catch me, but when she turned she screamed in pain as well and hit the sand. I crawled to her and held her in my arms, "I think my leg is broken." I held her right arm in my hand, "Hmm, looks like your arm is severely sprained and we both have cracked ribs." My eyes started to adjust to the darkness and I could make out the outline of her body and her blue eyes glowed in the dark. I could see the pain in her face and her teeth. I held her tighter. I couldn't believe I have Ahsoka in my arms. If only this wasn't in a serious situation. I have the hottest girl I know in my arms. "I'll try and open the hatch so we can climb out of here." She nodded and closed her eyes from the pain.

I stood on my right leg and grabbed hold of the metal walls. I slowly climbed upward to the hatch. I outstretched my hand and force pushed the door and it shot open. I looked down at Ahsoka as moonlight filled the small capsule, "Come on. Take my hand." I reached out toward her and she grabbed my hand with her left arm. I pulled her up and we both grabbed the edges of where the hatch was. I fell into more sand and looked up at the stars. Ahsoka fell next to me. I looked around to see a small lake surrounded by a thick forest. Ahsoka stood up and reached out her hand to help me up. She wrapped my arm around her to help me stand. A foggy mist consumed everything. "Where in the galaxy do you think we are?" Ahsoka asked. I shook my head, "I have absolutely no idea. I never knew there was a planet here."

We walked over to one side of the escape pod. Ahsoka sat me down and I leaned against the hard metal. She pulled off a panel attached to the pod, "The transponder was completely wrecked in the crash. No chance with our combined knowledge of mechanics and engineering could we possibly get this working." I looked back up at the stars, "Oh great, so we're stranded." She sat down next to me and held my arm, "It looks like it." I got tense again. She then leaned her head against my shoulder, "It's late. We should get some sleep." I nodded and she closed her eyes. I felt so turned on with her touch. She is leaning on me and holding my arm. I looked at her body. It was so smooth and tight. I saw a small smile on her face. That made me wonder if she was thinking the same thing I was. This was wrong. Jedi were not supposed to feel this way. I couldn't bring myself under control. Why would I? We both have several broken bones and I got shot twice, but I felt so...relieved. The smile on her face shows that even though she's in pain I somehow make her feel better.

I looked up at the clouds one last time. So bottom line, we destroyed the so called important information. We tumbled halfway to our deaths all the way down to this uncharted planet. Both of us are severely injured with several broken bones and I think we have concussions. Ahsoka's right. We need to rest before we do anything. I slowly closed my eyes and lowered my head until I felt Ahsoka's montrals brushing against the side of my head. I wrapped my other arm around her and drifted off to sleep.
