Chapter 6- Evidence

Author's POV.

It's Wednesday and Jimin is still on his penthouse. Having a meeting with his men. Planning for what they are going to do on the upcoming event.

"Here are your masks... Make sure that the venue is very well guarded." Jimin said to his men while one of them is giving all there masks that they are going to wear on friday. "Your masks has a mark so that you can recognize your team."

"But master, I don't think there will be a chaos on that evening.. A lot of high profile person will attend." Suga said.

"We can't say that, Suga. You know, it's not a normal event." He replied. "And one more thing, They are attending." Jimin referred to the man who he is expecting to come.

"Rain.." Arthur named it.

Jimin slowly nod his head put his hand on his chin. "You know how how smart Rain is. He won't waste his time to an event like this without making sure that he will benefit."

"But master, what do think will happen?" Suga asked his boss.

"Just be vigilant. Keep on eye in every persom inside the hall. Make sure that every corner, every entrance and exit of the rooms, there is a security. And make surw that no one among our men will die if ever." Jimin reminded his men.

"Master... What about the raid?"

"Let Felix handle it, Arthur. His team will make sure that no one on Rain's men will go home breathing." Jimin said and smirk.

Jeongyeon was left inside her office, doing some paper works and some analysis for their current case which is initiated to run by detective Kim. She is already into this case so much and she wanted to help her team in any ways she can.

She is actually alone because today, detective Dahyun is doing the investigation on chairman Park. While detective Joon is with Chaeyoung. They went to the mansion to do some recheck. It maybe sound so useless but the team is still hoping that they will find something inside that mansion.

"Ugh!!!" She brushed her hair out of frustration. "Why it has to be me? Why me?" Jeongyeon asked herself.

She close the folders in her table and rest her body in the chair. She close her eyes and took a deep breath. She tried to clear her mind and calm herself. She reach for the folder again and look at the pictures that is on the folder then bring out the invitation letter and a fake ID that was given to her as a passes for the masquerade ball.

"Park Jisun... Are you really going to show yourself in this event?" she said staring at the name of the man whom she haven't met. Not even once.

After a series of checks in the mansion, Detective Joon and Chaeyoung together with detective Dahyun and assistant Jungkook made their way back to the headquarters. It is quiet challenging for the them but Namjoon is making sure that they will do everything they can to make this case at ease.

When they arrived at the office, they saw Jeongyeon with her head down on the table. They though she was sleeping until she was startled when they talk.

"What do you think, guys? Do you think this evidence has an effect to the case?" Namjoon said.

"oh... Hey... How's the investigation?" Jeongyeon asked the two when she heard Namjoon speak.
