Chapter 23 - Vice versa

Author's POV

Jimin brought Jeongyeon in the new constructed mansion that in Gangnam Seoul when he rescued her in the bar. And because of that, she still isn't familiar on the way out since the place was quite tricky so she asked Hyujin to send her off.

"Jeongyeonie where have you been?!" Seungyeon asked her the moment she entered the house. "I've been calling you all night. I nearly called Namjoon to find you."

"I am with Jimin." She answered.

Seungyeon froze in shock. "What?!"

"He is alive and i was with him all night. I was at the bar drinking when he arrived. He took me in his house and i sleep there."

"So what happened? Did the two of you talked?"

"No... I was drunk and super clouded that happened. He just rest."

"Did he know you left?"

"No.. But that is not the important as of now. Is it true?"

Seungyeon confusely look at her. "True what?"

"About mom... Father texted me. He said mom is dead." Jeongyeon said and showed her sister the text that Rain sent her using Hae Soo's number.

Seungyeon cover her mouth due to too much surprise. "I didn't know... I.. Haven't recieve any text from them."

"We need to go back to Gwangju. I want to confirm it." she said and pass through her sister to go inside her room.

Seungyeon followed her inside. "But what if our father is just tricking us? What if he is just setting us up for something? And mom wasn't really dead."

"I do not care anymore. I just wanted to see it for myself." Jeongyeon said and started to pick the things she thinks she'll be needing. "Either it's a trap or not, i still want to go. It's mom and it is something serious. Are you coming with me?"

"Of course... I need to protect you." Seungyeon answered.

"I'm going to take a bath and we'll be going." She said and went inside her bathroom.

"I'm going to prepare too." Seungyeon said and went to her room.

It's already 9 am when Jimin finally woke up. He really felt too tired emotionally and physically that he really slept too long after what he and Jeongyeon did last night. But despite of the restlessness that he felt, he couldn't deny the happiness he felt the moment Jeongyeon came back in his arms.

He has been dreaming for that day to happen, to finally see her again and last night really gave them the chance. And they didn't just met, they made love not once but rounds. Jimin felt like nothing can take the happiness inside him away. Not even the truth that he has been hiding from the girl about Hae Soo.

He really wanted them to talk last nighr when Jeongyeon finally came back to her senses. But he saw how his girl was so happy. He saw how his girl became so submissive towards him and he doesn't want to waste that. He is taking the chance.

He opened his eyes and a light from the sun blocks his sight. He raised his arms above to cover his eyes and roam his eyes around but he noticed that he is already lying in the bed, alone. He noticed the note in the table beside him. He pick it up and read it. He smiled at the sight of the name below.
