It was the first day of school after the USJ Incident had occured. For some, it was just any other school day. For others, it was a nerve wracking event, fear of a villain attack filling them. For class 1-A, it was a reminder of what they had survived, and what had been lost. The empty seat behind Bakugou made the air feel cold and unpleasent, as many of them wished that Midoriya would walk through that classroom door, and sit down with a bright smile. It was a pressing feeling of dread which filled the atmosphere, suffocating any happiness that might've lingered. Some of them felt scared, some felt guilty, some were sad or even angry, but one thing was for sure, no one could possibly break a smile, not even All Might himself.
While it was surprising that Aizawa walked into the room covered in bandages, even though he should really be resting, the surprise and shock didn't linger very long. The dread was simply too heavy, too crushing to ignore. Even the teachers throughout the day seemed to be affected by the gloomy mood.
The day wasn't really all too eventful, really. Aizawa announced that the Sports Festival was being delayed until they got Midoriya back, and there was a chance that it'd be canceled completely. Of course, they already knew all of that. They went through other basic lessons as usual, and they did simple sparring in heroics. It all felt so... normal, other than the oppressive gloom that filled the air.
Amazing how one student could make such a big different, huh..

Shinsou walked home from school, a miniscule smile on his face. The cat cafe had opened back up, meaning that he could go visit his favorite fluffy buddies again. Of course, it also ment that he had to work again, but he didn't mind, he liked his job there. Yeah, yeah, he worked in a cat cafe, big deal. It was only a part-time job, anyway. He was pretty happy that he got to go back, though. Everyone there were actually pretty decent, although they didn't know his quirk, so that was probably part of why they were so nice.
But before he could go there, he had to get changed into his work outfit.

A figure lurked through the shadows, following the cat-themed vigilante closely. He was on a patrol, searching for any leads to the League of Villains once again. The figure following him knew this well. In fact, that was why the figure was following him.
Once Shinsou, now called Neko, had stopped walking for a brief second, the figure stepped out of the shadows, revealing a man with short, shaggy gray hair, equaly gray eyes, and round glasses. He had a cigar in his mouth, making Neko scrunch his face up in disgust, although his mask hid it.
"Hello there, I presume that you are Neko?" The man asked. The vigilante squinted invisibly, "Why should I tell you?" Frankly, he had every right to be suspicous. This random guy had been following him around, and he looked pretty shady. Plus, he was a vigilante, anyone who'd be looking for him had a high chance of being bad news. Neko was new too this, but he wasn't dumb.
The strange man took this as a yes, however, as he said, "Well, I'm Giran. I've heard that you were looking for the League of Villains?"
Neko paused for a moment, before nodding, "Yes, I am." He'd have to play this safe. While he didn't know much of anything about Giran, he did know that the man worked closely with the League, meaning that he might not help him if he stated his real reason for searching for the League of Villains. Perhaps he could say that he was looking to join them? He knew that plenty of vigilantes ended up going villain, and while he didn't at all want to be a villain, he would only be pretending for a while. Hopefully.
Giran nodded thoughtfully, "Well, depending on your reason and how much you're willing to pay, I might be able to help you with that."
"I want to join the League" Neko stated, the lie easily falling off his tounge, sounding much more confident than he felt. This was not a good idea!! If it went wrong, he was screwed!!
