My Kitty - Zonah Merron

Jonah's POV

"Hey, Jonah," Daniel said. I hummed in response, "You should get a pet," He suggested, "why would I need a pet?" I asked him. He stood up and said "Well, you've been alone for three weeks, and come on, you love pets, especially cats," he nudged my shoulder, I rolled my eyes and he added "Jonah, come on," "Fine, I'll do it," I stated. Daniel clapped and cheered. I went to the car and said to Daniel "You're not coming?" Daniel shook his head sideways and said "I have something to do, you see later," he walked away. I went to the nearest pet store which is just a few blocks away. I opened the door and saw a little kitten running to the door. I caught him and pet him. "Jonah, you're here," Samara the volunteer for the pet shop said while panting. She looks like she tried to get all the kittens to get in the cage. "Hey Sam, Daniel told me to get a cat, so any recommendations?" I asked which Sam responded "Sure, look around," she pointed to the cat section. I walked there and there are a lot of cute kittens, some sweat, some bitter, one even scratched my finger. I lose hope when I saw a kitty that is sleeping peacefully in his cage, he sleeps kinda cute. He has black fur but his tail is white. "Sam, I want this," I said while pointed. She came to the scene and said. "That costs $24.56," I gave her the money and she gave me the kitten. I left the pet shop, went to my car, and drove to my house. "Hey kitty, this is my house and I'm your new owner," I said when I entered the room. I looked at the window and it was night time. I went upstairs, wore my favorite jammies, and laid on my bed with the kitty on top of me. I closed my eyes and drift away from my slumber. I woke up, it was morning. Then I felt someone sleeping next to me. I looked to the right and saw a boy sleeping next to me. He woke up and saw me. Wait, where's my cat? How did this boy get here? I have so many questions. He starts to hide under the bed. "Hey, come out. I'm not gonna hurt you," I said as I bent down to see him. "Y-you're not?" he asked faintly as he looked at me. His eyes are so cute and innocent. "I'm not," I said reaching me to his hand. He got out of the bottom of the bed and sat on top of the bed. I took a deep breath and asked, "Who are you and where is my cat?" He smiled and said "My name is Zachary Herron, you can call me Zach, and I am your cat. I'm a hybrid" I looked at him confused. "A hybrid?" I asked then he turned into a cat, the same cat that I bought at the store. He turned back into a human. I heard his stomach rumbling. "Are you hungry?" I asked. Zach nodded and pouted at me. And let me tell you, It is so cute. "Okay, I'll give you food," I said while carrying him.
