Harry bounced his leg as he peeked out of the window, smiling as he did so.

It was snowing.

The bell finally rang and without wasting a second, he packed his books and dashed out, hurriedly running through the crowd as he put his jacket on.

"Lou!" He waved excitedly.

The ran towards eachother, meeting in the middle in a hug.

"Haz! Let's go, shall we?" Louis as they began their walk home.

Louis loved the snow. It looked like someone had sprinkled chalk powder on the rocky pavements. He liked to see his and Harry's footprints side by side, looking like little drawing made of the chalk like he thought of.

He listened as Harry talked about his day, Louis adding in about his in between.

"Hazzie, where's your other glove?" Louis suddenly asked noticing his bare hand.
"I lost it." Harry frowned.

Louis immediately took one of his and handed it to Harry.
"Here, take this, or you'll get cold." Louis said, slipping in onto his hand.
"But what about you?" Harry asked as he looked at the glove which was a little big on him.
"I'm warm, don't worry." Louis smiled.

Louis frowned as they reached his house.
"Wanna hang out?" He asked. "I'll ask mum to tell your mum." He quickly added.
"Yeah, sounds like fun." Harry grinned excitedly.
"Race to the room then." Louis smiled as Jay opened the door, both the boys ran inside.

Louis burst into laughter as Harry groaned loudly, dropping the controller on the rug and flopping onto the bed, burying his face in the pillow.

"That was the third time in a row!" Louis chuckled, turning the system off. "Admit that I'm better than you are!"
"Never." Harry mumble. Just as Louis was about to say something, Jay called him downstairs and he ran, Harry left alone in the room.

It was a good fifteen minutes later, he heard footsteps again. He expected Louis to tickle him. Instead, he quietly walked into the room, slipped a piece of paper under his arm, smacked his bum and ran downstairs.

"Oi!" Harry yelled. Louis had already ran. He looked at the note Louis had slipped.

Backyard ;) Xx.

He smiled and pocketed it, grabbing two pillows, a blanket and a flashlight before running downstairs.

And there was Louis, propping up the big tent.

"Lou! Lemme help you." He said, dropping what he had brought on the grass and picking up a pole.

It took them a while to set it up, goofing around and tickling eachother but by the time the sun began to set, everything was ready and the boys crawled into the tent, wrapping themselves in the blankets, cuddling close.

"Haz?"
"Hmm?"
"We should do this every summer."

Summer. In two years, Harry went from loving the snow to loving summer more- he saw Louis only during the summer now and so, he waited eagerly for the spring to kiss goodbye.

Louis moved to London for University and Harry who had gotten a scholarship was moving the same summer.

He quickly packed two muffins and some cookies, removed his apron before leaving the bakery. He was grinning the whole way home, waving and smiling at anyone he met. He was excited.
