IT WAS ONE OF THOSE NIGHTS WHERE TWO PRETTY BEST FRIEND sneak out of their homes to go around town and experience things that their father had forbidden them from doing.

"Can you walk faster? Someone might catch us here!" (Y/N) slapped the back of his head while Five flinched from the contact.

"Stay safe, children," Pogo mumbled from the mansion's window as he watches them flee freely. He was loyal to Reginald, but that doesn't mean he couldn't let the children have fun. They have powers he wouldn't worry that much.

He knew that every first and last day of the week was their get-together and it was either they had sleepovers or a tour on the exterior.

Pogo loved the youngsters very much. He knew much more of the children than their father would ever know. Reginald would study their powers and observe the effects of their abilities but as for the lonely monkey, he knew everyone's favorite food, show, and habit.

He knew that the kids were falling in love. Three and One seem to be closer than usual, and Eight and Five had a complicated relationship, but he saw the spark.

There was also one kid that showed love but never had the chance. A one-sided love that nobody knew.

A boy sighed as he watched them laughing on the street as they skipped happily after another successful process to escape their home.

Number Two, the stubborn boy, full of pride, had feelings for Number Eight. And he had no choice but to bury that love deep within his chest where he couldn't accept it again. Innocent love that never got a chance to reveal to the girl he always seems to despise.

They were 12 turning 13 but to this day it still troubled him. He always acted rudely in front of Eight but only it's because he couldn't talk straight when they have a normal conversation that's why he raised his voice at her most of the time. The problem was that she thought he hated her when it was the complete opposite.

And that hurt more than the needle.

He wished he didn't have stuttering issues then that way he could speak softly to Eight with a beating heart.

Five and (Y/N) just trespassed another establishment prohibited from people like them to enter. As for the two, there were no rules to anything. They would agree to even wrestle against a crocodile. There were daredevils. They thought they'd rather die happy with an accident rather than being stuck in that mansion with no life at all.
