wendy stared at the players upfront as she kept fidgeting her fingers on her lap. after months of practicing, it was finally the idol star athletics championship and wendy was supposed to participate. it wasn't her first time participating but has been years since she last did.

the venue was filled with cheers and yells, making wendy jump in surprise. she also hurriedly took out her phone from her pocket when she felt it vibrate, instantly smiling when she opened it.

she stood and went backstage, her members were in their waiting room, preparing for the upcoming sport, and wendy decided to stay there alone to watch over their spot. she greeted everyone she met with a smile as she quickened her pace to her waiting room.

as soon as wendy entered the room, she hurriedly shuts the door as a pair of arms instantly found their way around her waist. she giggled, letting her arms do the same around his shoulders.

"hey." mark greeted, wearing his changed outfit for the sport he'll participate which was basketball. wendy noticed his headband looking messy so she instantly fixed it, standing on her tiptoes since he was taller than him.

"there, perfect." wendy whispered with a smile. mark gave a peck on her cheeks and giggled, wendy was about to say something when they got interrupted because someone faked coughed.

the two finally went back to reality and were greeted by their friends' disgusted looks, "you don't see me and jaebeom being like that because we actually have dignity when we're with other people." seulgi joked in a serious tone but wendy knew she was joking base from her look.

"well, i wouldn't mind if you did that to me though..." jaebeom added and seulgi immediately stared at him and rolled her eyes.

mark places his arm on wendy's shoulder, "so babe, is there gonna be a reward if got7 will win for the game?" mark asked, hoping that she'll say yes.

"i heard there would be a medal prize?" wendy asked innocently, not understanding where the conversation hinted.

mark shuts his mouth and nods, making everyone in the room laugh out loud. mark stared at them angrily as wendy stared at them in confusion. yeri started mouthing wendy what mark meant and it took her a few minutes to finally get it.

"oh! i'm sorry, my love!" wendy apologized and laughed with them too, leaving mark pouting as his ears start to reddened in embarrassment. wendy removed his arm on her shoulder and held his face with both of her hands as she made him stare straight into her eyes, "do you want me to make you some strawberry shortcakes?" she asked with a smile.

it took seconds before mark could answer her question as he slowly smiled at her, "a date would be fine already, my love..." he answered and wendy looked at him in confusion.

"huh? i thought this is our date already? you want another one?" wendy asked and chuckled at her boyfriend's cuteness, "your place?" she asked and in an instant, mark's cheeks were the next to redden.

"okay! that's enough of sweetness! my phone's storage is full now, i can't take a video of the two of you now!" joy exclaimed, bring the two back to reality again.
