It's been a week since Merlin joined NCT. He has been practicing and learning more about the K-pop idol world. He still hasn't been revealed to the fans.

SM will soon debut a new group; WayV and Merlin are going to be a part of it. He was unhappy and happy at the same time. Unhappy because he will be in 4 subunits and happy because he will meet new people(YangYang).

YangYang has been in Merlin's mind since the day he first met the members. He wanted to know everything about him and became his best friend. To Merlin, YangYang looked like some kind of special person he needed to befriend. But the thing is, Merlin, didn't know that the other wanted to meet him too.

YangYang's pov:

Me and the boys were practicing for our debut. It was kinda hard because we were missing a member. That member was Merlin. He is going to come today and we are going to meet him and practice with him. I don't know why was I so happy to meet him. I just wanted him to come as soon as possible so I could see him standing in front of me again.

I haven't even noticed that I have been staring at the clock for the past 5 minutes.

"Hey, are you OK?" Ten asked me.

"Yeah. I just started daydreaming."

Time passed to Merlin meeting WayV

No one's POV:

Merlin entered the practice room. He was so happy to finally meet YangYang. 

"Hello everyone." Merlin said bowing at the boys.

"Hello Merlin, you don't have to be so formal." Kun said smiling at him.

"For everyone who forgot who you are, can you introduce yourself?" Ten asked.

"OK. So my name is Merlin or Minri, but you can call me whatever you want. I am the youngest and I hope we can be friends." 

"Thank you very much, Merlin. So I am not sure do you know our names but these are: Lucas, Hendery, XiaoJun, WinWin, Ten and YangYang." Kun said with a big smile on his face.

They started practicing and soon some boys had to leave for their vocal or rap practice. Now only Merlin, YangYang, and WinWin were in the practice room. They decided to stop for today and play a game of knowing each other better.

After a few weeks, YangYang and Merlin became best friends. They were acting like they knew each other for years, but in reality, they knew each other for a few weeks. Merlin also got closer to the other members. The members thought that he will become the biggest crackhead in the world but Merlin stayed quiet and calm. He wasn't loud or just questionable, he was very calm and nice. 

That is the reason why the members prepared for everything but no one can prepare for Merlin.

Heyooo everyone. I wanted to write something longer but I didn't have an idea. Just the idea of this chapter popped into my head because I listened to Someone's Someone by Monsta X.
