chapter 20

Ben was running like a mad dog since the doctor made him do different exercises that a wolf would do since he was part wolf, and he was doing lots of tests on how his wolf worked and what he could do. He started to train him as a working dog. "are we done" ben asked "no, you will keep working and doing what I say if you want to live, you want to live, don't you ben" he asked, "maybe I don't know" he said. He then just kept running.

Blake was outside waiting for the perfect chance to get in and save his ben; he grabbed his walkie talkie "I need back up, I repeat, I found the man taken I just need back up do you copy" he asked, "yes we got your message blake were on our way don't you worry" she said, "thanks Barbra" he said. He then waited in the darkness as he waited for his backup to come and help him rescue ben.

Ben was in his little room that was known as his torture room since the doctor had started to wipe him to test his strength and healing capability to see how fast he could recover from all the wounds he had. he then would punch him begging him to fight back. Still, ben never wanted to fight back all he wanted to do was go back to his everyday life. So he just let him hurt him as much as he wanted.

Blake was waiting in his hiding spot when he saw some people running towards him "okay; blake, we're here now; what do you plan to do" he asked, "now we rush in there and try to save ben while we make an arrest" blake said. Blake and the others then started to run in.

Ben was running again like usual when he got a weird feeling like someone was near that he knew of. Doctor Franklin was watching him when the door opened, and someone ran to Franklin as another ran to ben "you are under arrest for taking ben Wilson" she said. She put cuffs on his head "are you okay, ben" he asked. It felt like someone was talking to him, but he didn't hear anything; all he could hear was the silence that surrounded him. He saw blake, but he couldn't listen to him; all he could do was close his eyes and wonder what would happen next. Blake picked up ben and went to his car, and went home.

One minute ben was being whipped around and the next he was in blakes car, but he still couldn't hear anything blake was saying all he focused on was what was going on "ben are you okay" guardian asked, "no what is going on" ben said, "you were saved aren't you happy" guardian asked, "I don't know what that means guardain I don't know anything that is going on anymore all I know is I want to run" ben said. "oh no we are not going there again ben you have something no wait you had something good going on with blake do you really want to throw it all away just because of one little thing, you already tried to kill yourself" guardian said, "I don't want to die I just want to run away" ben said. "stop thinking like that ben you need to get back into the real world ben don't throw it away please I can help you, blake can help you just open up your ears and take in the world around you" guardian said, "but if I do that I will get hurt and my walls will come tumbling down, I don't want that I want to be my emotionless self still I don't want to open, if I stay shut I will never be hurt again, do you know what thats like guardian" ben said. "yeah I do ben, I'm sorry that your going threw this but we all go through something at some point but you need to open, open up to blake please I promise if you do nothing will happen to you, you will always be emotionless your heart will never be unlocked, you will stay the son of olive wilson so don't ever think you will ever change, just open up open your ears please ben" guardian said. "I don't want to guardian, please let me stay in the shadows," ben said, "no get out of our head, open those ears and speak to blake" ben said, "no," ben said. guardian then shoved ben out of his head as his ears opened. His eyes started to wet as a hand was put on his shoulder "ben please I'm sorry it will be okay" blake said, "no it won't blake, it will never," ben said. blake then put his arms around ben as he hugged him close "ben, please calm down it will be okay I promise" blake said. ben then just continued to cry until he felt his body shut down on him "blake is he okay," she asked, "yeah he just built up too much and is now fell asleep just drop us off at the hospital so I can bring him in for any injures," blake said, "you got it, sir," she said. She then drove off to help blake and his boyfriend.

Blakes coworker's car came to a stop as they went to the nearest hospital "thank you, sherel. I will take it from here, don't you worry, I'll see you at work later" blake said. Blake then got out of the car with ben as he walked to the entrance of the building with him.

Blake came in with ben. Blake set ben down in a waiting room as he went up to the counter "hello there sir, how may I help you" he asked, "yes, my boyfriend has a lot of very bad injures that needs to be looked at as soon as possible" blake said, "okay please fill out these forms and then return them then we will get him in as soon as we can okay" he said. Blake just nodded as he took the papers and returned to where his beloved ben was sitting at still sleeping peacefully. He sat down and started to write down what little information he knew about ben. he then got back up and went back to the counter and gave the paperback to the man "if there's not enough information, I'm sorry, I don't know that much information about him" Blake said, "that is okay will get him in as soon as we can" he said. Blake then returned to ben and waited for the doctor to see them. Oh, ben, please be okay. I want you to open your eyes and say that you wish to see me or need me I want to be close to you and hold you close; please wake up soon. Blake then just waited for time to go by as he waited for the doctor to see ben.
