chapter 17

Ben ran for a little bit, then he went to work and clocked in where he saw his boss. He just got to work and didn't bother to talk to her; she looked mad at something or someone.

Outside, a little far away, two people were in the bushes "so you say he works here" he asked, "yes sir, here take a look with my binoculars, and you'll see him" he said. He then looked through the binoculars and saw a certain boy with fawn fare hair and brown eyes with his medium skin tone working "yep, that is him good work, solider you will be rewarded will catch him at the end of the day" he said. They then just waited in the shadows and bushes for ben to get done working so they could sneak attack him, drag him back to their hideout, and kill him.

Ben was working when he looked at his clock; it was 6:55 already? Wow, time went fast for some reason. Where had all the time gone? Well, it seems like it was time to meet blake so he could get home. Ben clocked out then exited the store. He walked out and saw blake, but then someone else grabbed him "hey, what's going on," ben said. "ben don't you remember us well me," he asked, "wtf not you again, I'm not going back," ben said. But when he looked at his eyes, it was not ben in control, but instead, it was guardian "back down mutt" he said, "no I will not go back to that forsaken place, ben will be killed" he said, "haha he sure will" he said. Guardian then tried to walk away, but he was caught already and was about to be dragged away "blake!" he yelled. The men then put something in him that ben had swallowed but didn't know what it was, but it made him feel tired.

Blake was waiting for ben to come out when he heard his name being screamed out. He looked towards how his name was called and saw ben, his ben, being put into the back of a van and drove off. Blake got in his car and grabbed his radio to connect with the other police "delta, delta, this is an emergency man kidnapped by two men and taken in a van, following them in my car" he said. "copy that officer stone do you know what the man or van looks like" someone asked, "no just a black van, and yes about the height of me has fawn brown hair, medium brown skin, brown eyes, and is wearing a black long sleeve with blue jeans and black boots" he said. "copy do you need backup" someone asked, "yes send backup" he said, "roger we have your location" someone said. Blake then continued to follow the black van to try and get ben back his ben.

Ben woke up wondering where he was when he saw he was surrounded by people wondering where he was. he was trying to move but then he saw a gun pointed at his head "are you ready to die" he asked. "hmm maybe" ben said, "what do you mean maybe its a simple yes or no" he said, "maybe maybe maybe" he said, "god shut up your so annoying I want to kill you aleardy" he said. "then why dont you hmm what are you waiting for" ben asked, "were waiting for your little boyfriend so he can try to rescue you and if he can't guess what the prize is" he said, "what" ben asked. "your head on a silver plate" he said, "whatever just kill me now, or I'll just kill myself, you don't need to bring blake into this, this is about you and me and your family" ben said. "no no my dear ben this is about so much more this is about this whole thing started at least 30-40 years ago when your god damn mother olive was born" he said. "what did she ever do to you" ben said, "she ruined my life with my brother, we use to be best friends until she came along and he was head over heals and wouldn't stop till he had her" he said. "well i'm sorry that my mom didn't love a monster like him and I'm glad she found happiness with my other mom so just fuck off and don't blame me for your stupid family problems" ben said. He just slapped him across the face and shoved the gun closer to him "please put that down; your gonna hurt both of us" ben said. "how would it hurt me" he asked, "hmm, if you kill me, blake kills you get it" ben said. He just got more mad as he heard the sirens come closer "ah there here," he said. "who is" ben said, "blake and his people" he said, "but all I hear is sirens" ben said, "my dear boy do you not know what your boyfriend does for work, why he's out so late at night doing who knows what, fucking who knows who" he said. "shut up and no I never asked him what he does for work, he just says he'll be back in the morning, and I'm fine with that" ben said. "haha well ben he's a cop" he said, "that's nice to know I guess" ben said. He then got mad at ben; why does he act like this? What was wrong with him "freak" he said, "whatever you say to make you happy, I guess" ben said. He then heard someone speak up outside "give up now, and we won't harm you; just give me back, ben," blake said, "ha fat chance as I would ever do that go away and ben won't be killed," he said. "killed? What are you planning to do to him? Tell me now," Blake demanded, "nope, sorry, either go away or else," he said, "okay guys, you heard him or else" blake said. Blakes team then threw in something that made the air fill up as no one could see anything. Blake moved through the place quickly and quietly and found his ben. he grabbed him and ran out, hoping ben was okay and wasn't scarred or scared.

Blake drove for a bit of bit till he came to a stop and looked up at ben. Ben said nothing; all he did was sit there in silence, cold, dark, silent "ben" blake whispered. Ben looked up and did nothing but just let the water come out of his eyes "ben, please, I'm sorry they took you," Blake said. Ben put his head on blake's shoulder "blake these are both sad and happy tears" ben said. "hmm what are you happy and sad about" blake asked, "I'm happy you found me and you rescue me from him and he's gone, but I'm also sad that you didn't rescue me before they took me, why you didn't tell me what your job was, and that they will come back and kill me and you" ben said. blake then put both his arms around him and hugged him close "ben I'm sorry I didn't tell you I thought you might've been mad if I told you or you would make me stop because you would think it was too wild, and I'm sorry I didn't notice sooner" blake said. ben pulled him and hugged him close as he cried "ben please calm down I'll take you to my home and I'll help you calm down don't worry and I'll make sure a bodyguard or one of my buddies watches over you so you don't feel scared or unsafe, I promise you ben I'm not losing you again and I will never let anyone kill you" blake said. "why are you doing all of this for me blake" ben said, "because were best friends" blake said. "oh bull shit theres something else I know it, tell me I won't get mad" ben said, "promise" blake asked, "yeah I promise" ben said, "I kind of like you more than a friend" blake said. Ben then sat up and smiled at blake "I like you too, blake" ben said. "that's good, now let's get home and get you some sleep, buddy, then we can have some fun later" blake said. "blake" ben said, "yeah what is it" blake asked, "don't leave me" ben said. "haha, of course, I would never leave you" blake said. Blake then continued his drive to his apartment while trying to calm down and cheer up ben.
