Prologue

Your POV

"Do you think she will come back?" I asked while washing the dishes.

"I don't know" Alexander replied as he dried them "But don't lose hope!"

I sigh. I knew Alexander was telling me all of this to motivate me and keep me going, but he and I knew that Lucifer was better off with that man than in hell.

After all, who wants to be in a place where all you can see are rocks, spikes and skeletons?

"Come on, you know she's going to come back" Alexander said, stopping what he was doing and putting his hand on my shoulder to comfort me.

I looked and smiled at him, showing my gratitude.

We were cleaning the dishes for a while longer until we heard a loud bang coming from the main entrance, making us both jump with fright.

We ran to the main doors, not knowing what caused the blow.

There she was, between the gates, Lucifer with a bunch of girls and Helltaker behind her.

Although this surprised and shocked us, we pulled ourselves together and bowed, showing our respect for her.

"Welcome back, Lady Lucifer" We both said at the same time.

"Hi, Y/N" Lucifer said with a smile, looking at me. She shifted her gaze to Alexander, her smile dropped to a neutral face. "Alexander... I need nine guest rooms"

We nodded, took another quick bow, and went to get all the rooms ready.
