Chapter 4

Your POV

Everyone finished dinner which meant our shift was over and we could finally go to our rooms.

I put all the dishes next to the sink to dry and I go upstairs. 'Finally some rest!'

I open the door and the first thing I find is Beelzebub. "Good night dear"

"Oh Satan! Beelzebub, how long has your portal been open!?" I whispered, trying to make as little noise as possible.

"I don't know. Maybe 10 minutes, maybe 15..."

"Beel, you couldn't be more careless. If someone had decided to come in, the two of us would have been in big troubles!"

I look at Beel who is looking deep into my eyes with a smile like a teenager falling in love for the first time. "Beel... have you been listening to me?"

"You know Y/N? I love sooo much~ when you get mad at me like that~. Well, any ideas how to get me out of here?"

"Actually, yes. I remember seeing an old book of forbidden spells when I was going to read a-... When I was cleaning Lady Lucifer's room"

She looks at me with a suspicious look but doesn't say anything about it. "Excellent, do you think you can take it without anyone knowing?"

"I hope so..."

"I can't wait to be by your side again, my queen" I smile at her when I hear it.

"You look tired, sweetheart. Our meeting is over for today. We have discovered some valuable information that can complete half of our plan. So rest, sweetie~"

I nod and then the portal closed, and I could rest in peace for the rest of the night.

The next morning...

Little by little I opened my eyes, I turned around and tried to fall asleep again but the light from my window didn't let me rest.

I give up and get out of bed. I look at my clock and- SHIT, MY ALARM HAS NOT RINGED. I run downstairs- Wait a minute, this is supposed to be my day off...

I went back upstairs and before I could get into my room someone called me. "Hey, Y/N"

I turned my head to the person who called me, Alexander. Right, we were going out today. Alexander walks up to me. "Come in, let's go out throught your window. Oh yeah, and make sure we can get back in throught it again later" I nodded.

He opened my window and jumped out without thinking. I, after making sure that the window could be opened from the outside, jumped. Alexander made a hand sign for me to leave now.

Taking care that no one was looking at us, we walked away from the mansion. After walking around for a while, I could see quite a few trees with no leaves. "Isn't it amazing that trees can endure even in the conditions of hell?"

"Yeah, I am surprised that the trees are not turned to ash..."Looking to the left I could see a familiar face. Is she... Pandemonica?
