3rd person pov

harry was excited to say the least. it was july 2nd, so the day he was going to the park with all his friends.

he hadn't seen them since their last exam, a week ago. he was used to seeing them every weekday so going a week without them seeing them was strange.

harry was also still giddy from his text conversation with louis last night. the thought of a second date with him caused harry to have butterflies.

the boys had agreed to meet at the park at 11am, giving harry 25 mins until he had to be there.

he went with a simple outfit; a white tee with a pocket on the chest, black skinny jeans and his brown boots. he then threw on a forest green beanie, as his curls were refusing to listen.

he considered himself looking pretty hot, even if it was just for a meet up with friends and the boy who he actually wanted to impress wasn't going to see him.

he quickly hurried out of the front door, calling a quick bye to his mum. the walk to the park wasn't long, but he had a skip in his step, excited for the day ahead of him.

louis woke up with a smile on his face, remembering his date with harry yesterday. he was thinking how lucky he was that harry actually wanted it to be a date as well.

louis rolled out of bed and went downstairs, in just his joggers. as he got down he was surprised to see his mum, mark, lottie and fizzy all dressed up, ready to go out.

"oh, lou, good you're up!" jay exclaimed as she saw louis come downstairs. "i need you to watch the twins today, we're taking lottie and fizz to look at an alternate school" she explained.

as if on queue, phoebe and daisy came bounding into the kitchen.

"looks like it's just me and you today, you little munchkins" louis said, ruffling up daisy's hair, causing her to whine.

"oooooh! can we go to the park and get ice cream please?" phoebe asked, excitedly. louis just hummed in approval, actually quite fond of the idea of getting ice cream.

"we'll go after lunch, how about that?" he reasoned with his sisters. he got a squeal of excitement in return.

after 5 more minutes of bustling around, jay, mark and the girls were out the door. louis put the tv on for the twins while he went to have a shower.

after he got out, he searched for an outfit. he figured that if he was going out in public, he had to look somewhat presentable.

in the end he went with his blue jeans that had rips at the knees, a white graphic tee and his white vans. he left his hair as it was, deeming it decent enough.

louis made sure the twins were ready to go out, helping them put their shoes on. he then quickly googled the nearest ice cream parlour, finding one that was conveniently next to the park.

after checking he had his wallet, keys and phone, louis and the twins were on their way to the park.

harry was having a great time. he met niall and liam at the gates of the park at 11, where they went in to find perrie's group.

perrie's group consisted of perrie, jesy, jade and leigh-anne. it was no lie that niall had eyes for jade, but he was too scared to do anything about it. at least harry and liam had fun teasing him about it.
