"I don't want that moron around Jade okay..?" Drake said to Zach.
"What did he do?" Zach asked, one eyebrow raised.
"I don't know it's just...I don't like it when he's with her..." Drake said slowly.
"I think you're just a little bit... jealous..." Zach said smirking.
"Why would I be jealous..." Drake said looking away.
"I think, you have a crush on Jade!" Zach said excited.
"NO I DON'T! SHUT UP!" Drake yelled.
"Why are you getting so worked up if you don't...?" Zach asked.
Drake looked away.
"I just don't like falling for people..." Drake mumbled.
"So...are you in love with her..?" Zach asked intrigued.
"No...I'm just trying too hard not to be..." Drake said guilty.
"Awh...why do you hate love so much?" Zach asked, clearly worried about him.
"Because...it's a long story but, when I was 9 I was in the back seat of mom's car on the way to a birthday party with my girlfriend...I won't go into detail but basically I made mom crash and my girlfriend died...I promised myself I'd never love again..." Drake said drowsily.
"Why did mom never tell me..?" Zach said sadly.
"I'm sorry Zach. I hate this so much but...I heard mom saying that she doesn't love us equally..." Drake said breathlessly.
"W-who does the love more..?" Zach asked, doubting himself.
Drake sighs
"She...loves you less..." Drake said feeling bad for Zach.
Drake hugged Zach.
"What did I ever do!?" Drake said crying.
"I honestly don't know..." Drake said airily.
"Well thanks for telling me..." Zach said.
"Zach...you're not okay..." Drake said slowly.
"I'm not really but...I'm just glad you told me, sorry bout' your old girlfriend you but have Jade now-" Zach said and started giggling when be mentioned Jade.
"I don't love her!" Drake said, annoyed.
"Love who? Alex..?" Jade came in and said, they was some sass in the way she spoke.
Her voice wasn't obnoxiously loud or frustratingly quiet, it was just right. Something about that annoyed Drake.
Zach got a phone call.
"Uh, hello?"
"Hospital!?"
"Y-yeah I know Alex..."
"S-s-she what..?"
"On my way!"
"Zach what's wrong!?" Jade raised her voice and said, scared because Alex's name was mentioned.
"Alex...she crashed into a tree..." Zach said, still shocked.
"WHAT!?" Jade shouted.
