I'm sitting with my mom, well, foster mom.

"Hey, mom, can I have a milkshake like Lola?" She asked.

"No. I'm not your mother so call me miss." She said grumpily.

"Well can I at least call my real mom on the spare phone?" She asked quietly.

"No your mother doesn't love you." She said strictly.

"That's not true..." She mumbled.

"Yes it is, if she loved you we wouldn't be here." She replied.

"She does love me..." She said with teary eyes.

"No, your mother doesn't love you. If she did she wouldn't have given you up! She abannoded you."

"But I know she still loves me!" Jade shouted.

"Quiet down you little brat!" She said angrily. "You mom left you for a reason."

Jade left angrily.

I know the only reason she left was because she had too.

I run to Drake and hug him.

"Hey babe!" He said smiling.

She was silent and cuddled him tight.

"What's the matter bubba?"

"My stupid foster mom." She said vicously.

"Poor baby Jadey..." He said kissing her forehead.

"Love you lots..." Jade mumbled.

"Love you more..." Drake said stroking her hair. "If your foster mom's that bad you can ditch her in a week and live with me..."

It was her 18th birthday in a week so she could leave home then.

"I'd love to live with you..." She whispered.

"So it's settled then." Drake said looking down at her cute little face against his chest. "I'm lucky to have you..." He mumbled.

"You're not lucky, I'm not exactly everyone's dream girl am I..."

"You're my dream girl..." He whispered.

"I...what..?"

"You are, you're my dream girl..."

"This is why I love you..."

"Pick me up." Jade said smiling.

"Sure Princess."

He picked her up and kissed her cheek.

It's funny to think I used to hate him...
And now I love him.
It's good to have someone who loves you.

Even if they used to hate you...
