Chapter 7

Griffin's POV

I was walking down the hall as I saw Destry and Annabel standing in each others arms in the empty hallway so I decided to walk over to them, half way down the hall I yell for them, as Destry's head saps in my direction Annabel just snuggles her head into Destry's chest, then him pulling her closer, wonder what that's about. "Hi" I said looking at Destry's impassive face until he smiles and returns a quick "hi".

"am I missing something here?" I ask as I see them so intensively close to one another

"NO!" Annabel spits out she sounded uneasy

"Okay" I said knowing I had a confused look on my face I turn to face Destry and ask

"So Destry me and a couple of my mates are going to a party tonight, you want to join?" I ask still trying to read is now impassive face

"I don't know man, I may just stay with Annabel tonight she has a.... been kinda worried about everything that has happened you know" he said glancing back and forth between me and Annabel

"Oh yeah I totally understand mate it's cool if you don't come I was just wondering so no big deal." I said. I tapped Annabel on the shoulder and she leaned her head up and over to look at me, I then leaned into her ear and whispered to her "everything will be fine" when I stepped back I saw her smile which meant she said thank you.

I turned to walk away and as I turned the corner i bumped into someone and we both fell to the ground except they landed on top of me.

"Ouch bloody hell watch where your-" I was about to finish until I saw her face as I opened my eyes her expression was soft and innocent, I looked at her a minute till I broke the silence and said " uh sorry about that but would you mind getting off me love" I saw her blush has she started to get up, when she was successfully on her feet she put a hand in front of me and I took it gladly, as she helped me up I saw what she was wearing damn she was hot. I was then broke from my thoughts when she said "hi my name is Kindra sorry for bumping into you" she said "oh no problem it was really my fault, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going" I said " well neither was I" she stated I gave up and let her win but then said "well sorry anyway and by the way my name is griffin" I said as I hold a hand out for her to shake she does and I ask why she was in such a rush.

"Well I was trying to find someone named Destry" she said

I was confused for a second and then blurted out " well I know where he is" her eyes brightened as I said that

"Well where is he" she asked eagerly, I took her hand and pulled her down the hallway where Destry and Annabel still stood

"DESTRY" she screamed

Destry's POV

I heard a familiar girls voice scream my name from down the hall as mine and Annabel's heads snap in that direction Annabel look annoyed when I became over joyed it was my best friend from Florida one of my only friends from Florida, she runs up and pushes Annabel off me before she could react, and then hugging me so tight I almost couldn't breath, she let go, me going for air as I heard Annabel ask,

"Who in the hell are you" Annabel asked coldly but plainly, I walked up behind her and grabbed her waist trying to calm her but it didn't work, she asked again to Kindra "who in the hell are you!"

"If you must know" Kindra starts " I am Sahara, Destry's old friend from Florida" , I am still holding Annabel's waist and see Kindra looking annoyed that I am, does she like me oh lord tell me she doesn't I sure hope she doesn't because if Annabel finds out there will be a funeral coming soon.

I let go f Annabel's waist and grab her shoulders forcing her to face me " look she is just a friend" I whisper to her, she gets closer to me and wraps her skinny little arms around my neck and leans up to say into my ear that "she looks at you as if she has a crush on you, so I have to do this" she say, me confused what she is talking about " wha-" I was about to say until Annabel shoves her lips onto mine and kisses me, I start to kiss back not caring to remember that my best friend was standing there in front of us, wait my best friend is standing in front of us, I reluctantly pull away from our kiss and pry Annabel off me and whisper in her ear " me and Kindra are just friends ok" I said, Annabel looking annoyed and angry, I turn to face Sahara who eminently asks how it's been here in Arizona, we talk a while Annabel still angry that she is here but oh we'll, then comes a question that I did not want to answer.
